No Mattner, Clarke Mcleod Pfeiffer [got him confused with Griffin]

After the 20 minute warm up the session went for about 45 minutes with nothing more than end to end work which also involved moving the ball across the ground before going direct.Crow jumpers on Yellow tops and no tackling just very quick percise movement very different to last week.
That would be because of the short week.

This lasted for about 30 minutes with a 5 minute break when Neil Craig spoke .After this Skippy,Goodwin and Doughty left as the others broke into groups in the centre of the ground we had Huddo rucking against Meese with Bodey roving to Huddo and VanBerlo to Meese.Very good leap on Meese and while Meese gave away size to Huddo Vanberlo received as many possesions as Bodey did.

The defenders were one end doing some one on ones and this group included Sarge along with Bass Rutten Bock Hart Torney and Jerhico while at the other end the fowards were doing drills with Stiffy apart of this along with Roo Kenny Welsh and Birdman.

On one side of the ground Biglands Maric and Pfeiffer [edit Griffin] and the midfielders were doing set play drills.
As this all wound down Craigy had a lenghty chat to Thommo and
in front of the members stand we had Sarge taking marks while Jerhico was trying to spoil did a ok job did Luke.

Most of the group left except 12 players had goal kicking pratice including Biglands Kenny Roo Shirley and Vince interesting thing here was that Bock had several shots for goal and was under the watchfull eye of Craigy who would talk him through each kick then show him things after the kick like stance and head postion.

The thing i found interesting as this wound down and players would leave the track after several shots there were 4 left and one of them was Mark Ricciuto so even after 299 games he is still putting in the extra bit and that my friends is why he is a champion.

Well said birdmanptr!! :thumbsu:

Many thanks for the report mate. :)

I went to training :thumbsu: Vince didn't train, must have gotten him confused with Hinge or Welsh. Pfieffer also wasn't there, besides that great report :thumbsu:

I thougt they trained really well, rarely dropped a mark or a handball. Ben Hudson moved very well :thumbsu: I have a feeling Bock will come into the side for Friday night's game. At one point he seemed to be down the 'forwards' end in a set piece of play...so maybe Craigy is considering bringing him in for Hentschel.

Just thought I'd add it was interesting to SA umpire Derek (?) Woodcock at training. At a number of set plays he would through the ball up and was even blowing a whistle...

Thanks for the report and that is a great lesson for the kiddies with Roo staying out late doing the extra miles.
