I don't think we're in a position to drop him. We buried him leaving him in the ruck too long against Grundy and it cooked him. It happens
i saw signs that i didnt like in that game

Because I thought people would welcome any sort of intel, even though I shouldn't always share what I hear.
But nevermind. I'll just stick to training information.
It's a bit of an unusual week in terms of selection as it's just not a normal game. I suspect decisions might be more emotive than usual with selection for this one being a coveted prize. Do you go with the emotion of Membrey as the established player whose done more yards with Pendles. Or the emotion of the up and comer getting the prize.

West. Allan in black
Buller. Membrey white
Both Steele and Anderson were in white
Can you play all of Allan. Anderson. Long and pendles?
I disagree, the best learning environment is in the firsts. We have to fastrack their development, have to give them maximum exposure.Angry might be due a spell in the 2's. Has shown plenty but it could be good for him to go back and rip up the midfield for a couple of weeks.
What'd be your reasoning for this? He looks like he's building confidence and tank. Not sure a sudden drop to VFL would do him much good. The more his TOG increases (currently sitting around 50-60%), the more I think we'll see him pop up to influence the game more consistently.Angry might be due a spell in the 2's. Membrey hs been on the list the same amount of time as Charlie, let’s not get carried away with the idea of Membrey being an “emotional” selection because we all know that’s a load of crap. It's a bit of an unusual week in terms of selection as it's just not a normal game. Is fly scheduled to have a presser today?

So what if he has few down moments here or there, he is till finding a way to contribute. We are experienced enough to be able to carry few young players as they find their footing at the senior level.

I honestly would drop beau. But I don't think he will because he is a senior player.Ok, so who goes out then?
It's not a knock on Anderson. He looks well up to the level. However, with the returns of Pendles, Lippa etc and the retention of Ed, he is the unlucky omission this week.
I think his TOG only suggests he hasn't quite built up the level of fitness required for top level just yet, but he's getting close - and that's not something that gets improved on by going back to the 2's. He has to continue his exposure at top level to continue building that up. I don't think he's done anything to justify an omission or a need to prove his ability to contribute. The 50-60% game time suggests that he's not quite ready to become a permanent fixture at senior level. Huge fan of what he brings to the table. However, we aren't running with Pendles, Long, Allan and Anderson in the side. 1 misses out this week and it's Angry. Go back and have 30 touches, 2 goals and demand your spot back.
What else could it be besides the birth of his child ?Bobby hill news coming according to fly. Hopefully not to much of a setback
Would have thought fly would simply have mentioned that like he did before. He seemed to avoid it. Anyway I won’t speculate till the club provides an update. Hopefully that’s all it isWhat else could it be besides the birth of his child ?
He is no where close to playing.
Assume it's related to the birth of his and his partner's bubba. Fly did say "I would assume so" to a question of "do you expect Bobby to play aganinthisCurious what that "news brewing" re Bobby is
When Fly was asked did he expect Bobby to play again this season, he replied "I would assume so". So I'm taking that as a positiveWhat else could it be besides the birth of his child ?

Patience grasshopper.Judging by the lack of celebrations and lack of mentions in swadling in black, it looks like it is an other week of waiting.
No thanks- we need him.Angry might be due a spell in the 2's. Has shown plenty but it could be good for him to go back and rip up the midfield for a couple of weeks.
The season will be over when he finally graces the AFL grass with his presence. I understand him needing time off last week to be at the birth of his baby but why was he a no show at training earlier this week? It's getting farcical.Assume it's related to the birth of his and his partner's bubba. Fly did say "I would assume so" to a question of "do you expect Bobby to play aganinthis

I’m a big big fan of fly, this would be a mistake. 40 touches and a goal, and to not debut him against WCE at home is seriously shocking match committeeJudging by the lack of celebrations and lack of mentions in swadling in black, it looks like it is an other week of waiting.
