I am old, you are young. I don’t care what people think, you still do. You want your content to be liked. Fair enough.

Jen, the things you share here are very welcome and can be insightful, interesting, and contribute to the overall conversation in a fun way. In this instance you weren't even being questioned though. I just asked if there was any video or audio content pertaining to what you had mentioned as a fellow Collingwood fan. I also enjoy watching club content believe it or not, so I was curious if there was some club content I had missed out on. For some reason you perceived that as being interrogated. I won't psychoanalyze why you've chosen to perceive my inquiry so cynically, but I can assure you it wasn't.

You should keep sharing your thoughts as you always would, because no one told you to stop doing that either. Just a tip, people on the internet aren't always going to take the things you write at face value, that doesn't mean they disapprove of what you're saying. It's a natural part of participating in a public forum.

It's a bit disappointing that such a simple inquiry could result in such a negative reaction.

It's a bit of an unusual week in terms of selection as it's just not a normal game. I suspect decisions might be more emotive than usual with selection for this one being a coveted prize. Do you go with the emotion of Membrey as the established player whose done more yards with Pendles. Or the emotion of the up and comer getting the prize.

I'd maybe understand an "emotive" decision on including someone like a Sidebottom or Howe if their form was a bit dicey - but Membrey has nothing on that score. Go with who they think will play better.

My fear has been emotive selection as well. Membrey will be interesting since he hasn't been playing with Pendlebury for long, even though he's played more games with him than the kids. It would be very sad for him but I'd hope he's left out of selection this week in favor of our future. Especially as an older bloke coming off a hamstring.

Not much, that’s my view, but I’m too used to Fly backing experience and the guys who have played alongside players like Pendles longer than the kids.
