"Philippe Coutinho is ready to hold clear-the-air talks with Liverpool as he looks to return to the fold with Jurgen Klopp's side."

"The Independent understands that the player and his representatives are ready to admit defeat and will look to talk to key Liverpool figures to smooth over the summer's events. People within the 25-year-old midfielder's entourage are pointing the finger at Barcelona for manipulating their client and have suggested the Nou Camp club used family members to provide additional pressure. They insist the ill-conceived email was Barca's idea."

This is quite funny.

They've got about 10000 fans and most of them are tax dodgers with enormous bank balances. Hardly the sort of environment that would create ultras lol
The Ultras must be CEO's of companies only worth $1 billion.

Would Mbappe to PSG just be a pit stop for his inevitable move to Real Madrid?

I thought his dream was Madrid, probably better off staying at Monaco and improving his development there.

PSG is all Neymar now.
Problem is more that Monaco want to sell him I think. 2 years left on contract. They want him to sign an extension but don't want to pay him big money.

Shadow of the team they were last season any way. Another rebuild needed.

It was obvious from the start that Barca were behind all of the shit but at the same time Cout also shouldn't have gone along with it.

We've done very well to hold them off and now have Cout blaming them. Kia is a leech though.

No they aren't, they're just onto the next generation of stars.

Yes, the passion runs deep amongst the hardcore Monaco fans. Imagine the pre game meet ups at some waterfront casino munching on prawn sandwiches while sipping on champagne.

Who they will rebuild with.

Theres a couple there I could see really coming on, the one they got from Barca (can't remember his name) looks very exciting.

Dunno why people in this thread are potshotting Monaco fans when most EPL stadiums these days make libraries sound loud.

Lopes can replace Silva if he steps up, Kongolo will replace Mendy, Jorge looks quality, Tielemans is a guaranteed world class star, Ghezzal has talent (whether he has much talent is debatable) and Meite seems to be the Bakayoko replacement.

I think Monaco are just fine.

Monaco would probably still win the PL yeah?

monaco are definitely a lot weaker that they are last season. if/when mbappe goes they will continue to lean heavily on falcao to score as he has.

Agreed. After Mbappe, Monaco doesn't have a lot of decent options (especially with Germain leaving) to replace Falcao if he gets injured/suspended which would derail their season. The other talent they have should be good enough to replace what they lost eventually though.

That doesn't really answer my question but anyway

When I said Monaco could win the EPL I also did say that it'd be with the team they had last season and when I said it they had just knocked 2 English clubs out of the UCL. I'm failing to see what's laughable about that all things considered.

regardless, monaco loaning out mbappe (if it happens) is an absolute pathetic roll over from monaco and are handing psg an even bigger advantage. hell, at the beginning of the summer he wanted to sign an extension with monaco, and they never offered him one. absurd.

  • united have sent scouts to spain to watch ezequiel garay
  • messi has told barca he wont sign a new deal until he is happy with the people they bring into the club
  • chelsea have made a 4th bid for belotti according to italian press

  • adidas us website have started selling ibrahimovic number 10 shirts for man united so looking like he will be back
  • barca scouting liverpool target keita
  • everton looking at another 2 signings
  • arsenal youngster marcus mcguane is a wanted man. man city/united/juventus and napoli are all trying to get the england under 18's captain
  • lille offering 36m for chelsea striker michy batshuayi
  • man city to offer 70m for alexis sanchez
  • west brom want 25m for jonny evans
  • ox to sign new arsenal deal worth 125k pw

Ummm, asking for a friend

If Mbappe was to go on loan to PSG but not a permanent move...
And my FRIEND had a fair amount of money on Mbappe to stay put at Monaco...
What would happen then?
Because the market is for "Kylian Mbappe to sign for before 1st of September 2017"

then he loses. loans count as moves.

man city to offer 70m for alexis sanchez
I wonder if any clubs outside of England would bid 60+mil. If nobody does, 70mil might be a good offer to take if you are Arsenal.

Class players like him shouldn't be leaving for free. At least they'd get compensated despite only a year left on his deal.

For mine Arsenal should talk to Sanchez now about re-signing, and if he doesn't, take the offer on deadline day.
