I don't get the hatred

He'd easily be their best holding mid and Carrick replacement if Levy did sell out to them.
Me neither. Played the most minutes in the stiffest defence last season and 2nd most in the stiffest defence the season prior.
DM and CB. He's not worth 50m tbh but the daily melts are a bit yawn worthy.

Hopefully he says no deal. Got rid of their RB's and missed Alves. Make them buy their 3rd choice and then find a back up as well. Time for Daniel to grow a pair.
But apparently it's not just coming from Levy.

Rumours that Pochettino wouldn't be bothered if he was sold and would be content to reinvest the funds into other areas. Apparently Poch wasn't happy with his attitude when Trippier replaced him for the big games, particularly during an important period of the season.
Nachos + 30 mil? You rate Walker at 55m?!

Yikes.
Guarantee that if we sell Walker to City it will be for at least 50m. Levy knows they are desperate for fullbacks and that theyve paid big money for defenders before. Haha there's a story going around that Levy actually increased Walker's asking price when he saw that City had included multiple fullbacks on their released players list.
Just shoot me if we get Dier
You'll be safe.

We're just not going to sell him. Pochettino absolutely adores the bloke and finds a way to get him in the team in almost every single game. I genuinely think that along with Dele and Kane, Pochettino considers Dier untouchable and he would walk if he was sold from underneath him.

In any case. I agree with go you pups, the underrating of Dier by United fans here is hilarious. Young and already a key member of the best, or second best, defence in the league for two straight seasons. Has performed well at DM and CB and still has significant improvement in him.

I don't think we should sell a spinal player to a competitive rival FWIW, particularly one who is home grown

*Dier technically isn't home grown, but really he is, plays for England, established himself in England now etc, I doubt he goes back to Portugal or anywhere else abroad anytime soon.

Walker probably is the most expendable out of our home growns, but yeah, if he wants out Levy either says no or makes City pay through the nose.

Loving these premier league loans. Will keep me interested in all games!

Love RLC, will be a player. I Hope.
off topic nice avy bruh, on topic, did he play much for chelsea last season ?

Pretty sure you have moved on from Sakho mate.

Plays CDM, CB, RB

Versatile
he's not a replacement for Carrick and isn't better than Herrera so why would we want him.

Because the special one thinks he is better than Herrera and is a replacement for Carrick and would start at CB for you. 50m is a bargain for a guy that would start for you in 2 positions

No he doesn't, if we have any actual interest in Dier and it isn't just clickbait he would be in a midfield three with Herrera and Pogba in the DM role. He also wouldn't start at CB, Bailly and Lindelof are our CB pairing.

And quite simply he isn't worth 50m.

what pants said. Herrera bitches Dier whenever they play each other.

Dier plays nothing like Carrick which is why calling him a replacement is silly.

LOL come on. Dier > Lindelof.

Also, not sure about that.

In a CM3 Dier would play a very similar type of role to Carrick. Dier loves to get on the ball from deep and play aggressive passes as well as long balls to switch the point of attack. Perfect example that immediately comes to mind is for our second goal against Hull in the last game of the season. Dier gets on teh ball and plays a lovely weighted ball over the top of the defence to Trippier who first time crosses to Kane who scores.

When he played CM for us 2 seasons ago he would regularly be the one to split the CB's and dictate play from deep and be the 'passer' if you like, compared to Dembele's 'runner' or 'dribbler.'

To use FM parlance; when he plays CM/DM he's much less the BWM (like Wanyama for example), and more the half back/regista.

It's all academic anyway as he just won't be sold. We who watch him week in and week out know how good he is and how vitally important he's been to a team that has finished above you in the last two seasons.

In a market where Siggurdson is being priced at 50m a RB, CB, DM from one of the best defensive sides in the league who is English and under 25 definitely sells for than 50m.

Not saying I'd spend that much on him but the market is all over the place atm in terms of what players are going for. And a player is worth what the buying club is willing to spend at the end of the day. If united want to bid 50m for him then that's what United think he is worth. Mind you I don't think we'll accept 50m either he is worth more to us than he is to you. Just like Siggurdson is worth more to Swansea than he is to Everton

"Whenever" is a grand total of once. Apart from that England v Spain game, he's played in midfield against United 3 times. Herrera hasn't started any of those games.

Is that the same Dier not used in big games by Poch?

You as well as I have no idea about Lindelof however we haven't just spent 30m on a CB for him not to be a starter, and Bailly shits on Dier.

his range of passing and ability to control the game is amateurish compared to Carrick.
