Is there not a difference between buying players who add to your inherently home-based side rather than having a squad that's nothing but a collection of richly assembled foreigners? I think there is. Being a fan of what to you is a foreign league means this is something that may not concern you though

I do think Cout will join them but not for another season or 2. There's just nobody available to replace him right now. Mbappe is the only possible replacement and he would cost 120m pounds min. Perhaps if Barca bid 120m pounds we may sell.

May I suggest you stop following Spurs and start following Dagenham & Redbridge. Plenty of true British players in that team and the league it plays in to keep you happy. No teams full of rich foreigners. Go knock yourself out.

Also the ongoing Arab shitfight between Qatar / Saudi Arabia / UAE etc etc is surely going to affect PSG.

Alli, Barkley and Winks all vying for midfield and all will be English international mainstays over the next decade. Much more preferable than signing up shiny new foreign toys for tens of millions of pounds every summer the way Chelsea do. No culture at that club

Chelsea's problem is the way they treat/integrate youf, Lukaku, De Bruyne, Salah etc their main failures in this regard. Nothing new that I haven't brought up on beforehand here.

They always retained a good core of players over the years though since Roman like Terry, Cole x2, Drogba, Lampard, Essien, Cech, Malouda, Mikel, Cahill etc. You can probably chuck Hazard, Courtois and Azpilicueta in that frame now. I think they are very loyal to their senior players.

Yeah they tried to phase him out eventually as he was cooked and he didn't want to leave and earned an easy buck playing reserves for a year

He wanted to leave, was told by Chelsea that he was no longer needed, had agreed a deal elsewhere but was not paid out by Chelsea for the last year of his contact. Was then forced to stay and train with the youth team. Not a good way to deal with a player who's given 5 years service.

I've already said how. They had 200 million to spend at the start of the window and are flogging off a fair amount of bench warmers who'd get them decent coin/wages off the books to be able to get Neymar. He has been the jewel for PSG since they took over and there's a reason they've always wanted him over anyone else.

Spurs actually have a good model.
They have given home youth a chance and signed some quality imports. Players in Spurs youth team ,know that they will have chance under Pochettino.

You're the most settled side in Italy that can challenge, don't look like losing anyone important and just need an upgrade on Reina and a backup/contender for Jose Callejon's RW spot. Shouldn't be too hard with ADL's pockets and so you should just break the bank for Berardi and a young keeper like Lafont, Perin or even Areola from PSG.
