So Liverpool are going to buy the title because they can't win it honestly like Chelsea and Leicester the past two seasons. Thought Klopp was better than that.

We put our pennies away in a jar for a rainy day like now. 2 years of being tightarses hopefully finally pays off!!!

I just can't comprehend why City would need Alexis. I know I'll get the "depth" and "rotation" responses but if Aguero, Jesus, Sterling, Silva, De Bruyne, Sane and Bernardo isn't already enough attacking options going into a season then Chelsea are f***ed.

They tried to buy Mbappe too.

We'll normally have at least 5 of those 7 on the pitch at any given time. Injuries and suspensions, 3 games a week etc.

Regardless of who it is, we do need another attacking player.

Correct. We've offered more than that but he's intent on a club that doesn't want him yet.
Can understand Lazio's willingness to sell given his contract expires next year.
Yep, will just come to us free next year unless there is a last minute transfer

What system are you playing? 4-4-2 with KDB as a CM?
it varies but pretty much kdb and david silva are central midfielders now. but it will change and move around so much based on who we play, who's available, etc.

personally i'd have rather muscled in on the keita deal or a central midfielder of that ilk. dont think yaya will see much football this season, and gundogan is basically the only other natural central midfielder who is at the level required.

KDB is playing much deeper this season.

We won't play a set formation (it is Pep after all) but I'd have Sane, Aguero, Jesus, Sterling fighting for 2 or 3 positions most weeks.

Silva, Silva, KDB behind, picking the ball from deep and distributing.

FWIW I think Sane and Sterling will play much more centrally than last season.

Width will come from fullbacks.

Sterling has been pretty good playing behind Jesus/Aguero do far.

Yeah fair enough. Your team just looks a bit unbalanced to me. I think you need more steel in midfield and I can see your defence conceding a bit. City would scare me if they had someone like Busquets/Casemiro in their midfield.

Juve want him, they just know that he's committed to them and can tell him to run down his contract and sign him on a free next year,

di marzio says there's an agreement between lazio and monaco for keita balde
They also accepted fees from us, West Ham and an Italian team. Balde rejected them all. He only wants Juve.
