Yeah odd one, as you say we have greater needs. Leeds media mentioned De Paul from Udinese could be back on, although going by Kinnear’s comments I’d be surprised if they stump up the £30+m for him

I think the Traore one is more so because he's refusing to sign a new contract with Wolves, which is why Nuno hasn't really played him much in the 1st 11.

I reckon Moyes would be keen if he was available, but we're pretty well covered down the right as it is with Coufal and Bowen. Wonder if say a Everton or Southampton would go for him if he wanted to stay in the EPL, don't think he'd play regularly for any of the big clubs so to speak.

Also it sounds like we are going to try and sell Haller back to the Bundesliga next summer and we're looking to get 25M fee, which would be a 12M loss or so, and there's about 3 to 4 teams interested by the sounds of it.

I'd speculate if that does happen, we'll be going all out for Abdallah Sima from Slavia Prague as a replacement, Tomas Soucek is basically recommending all of these players from the Czech League after how well him and Coufal have gone so far.

That's a step down though for Traore.

Traore is a weird player. His pace, strength and dribbling is outstanding. He almost seems unstoppable when he puts his head down and charges at defenders. Gets fouled a lot. Problem is his end product is pretty bad and doesn’t have the football IQ to involve his teammates more. Also not sure he is disciplined to track back defensively.

I don’t think he is suited for a top 6 team, unless he accepts a bench role. Wolves are probably around his level if he wants to play regularly.

- Alaba will join a new club in July. Will not sign new deal and refuses to be sold this month. Spain his preference but City, United and Liverpool chasing the free agent.
- Southampton keen on Brandon Williams on loan.
- Arsenal were planning a big spending summer 2021 with departures of Mustafi, Ozil, Sokratis and Luiz possible. The inability to score is seeing some of this possibly brought forward to the winter. Aoaur has fallen down the scouting order. Eriksen will not be considered.
- Saliba expected to be loaned out in January.
- Mourinho would like back up for Hojbjerg at defensive midfield. Funds may not be available.
- Balogun expected to leave Arsenal in the summer as a free agent, Liverpool are admirers of the teenager, but foreign clubs being able to talk to him Jan 1 makes that option much more straight forward.
