Bissouma has been given the Here We Go
Very good player. Not hoping he doesn't get charged or get time like some Spurs fans. Hoping the victim gets the justice they deserve. Hopefully Yves involvement is more of a bystander nature and he has learnt that not stopping something from happening is not the way he should act.

Levy spending 25m quid without doing the due diligence on the legal matters. Yeah rightIf it's happening and he is no longer on bail you have to presume that he is innocent. I doubt Spurs would go through with the transfer if there was even a hint at a possible conviction on sexual assault charges. You could very well be correct about Bissouma just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. You would imagine justice will be served for the victim and the actual perpetrator will go down for it.
Or is he cheap because he has 12 months left and won’t extend his deal at Brighton..Signing a player on the cheap due to sexual assault allegations hanging over them wouldn’t really sit well with me. You’d hope Spurs will address the issue if/when they announce his signing.

Justice is regularly not the outcome for a victim in these situations. Large majority of times a charge doesn't get laid at all, followed by incorrectly getting off charges, then justice being found. And in last place is a fabrication of events. If it's happening and he is no longer on bail you have to presume that he is innocent. That's because in sexual assault situations charges being laid and found guilty in courts doesn't happen often enough. Many more get away with acts than get charged and found guilty. Just going off the law of averages. He is more likely guilty of an act but not guilty in the eyes of the law, than he is completely innocent on both sides of things.Or is he cheap because he has 12 months left and won’t extend his deal at Brighton..
What is there to address? He hasn’t been charged with an offence and wasn’t at our club when he was arrested.
Far too much cart before the horse mentality going on here, and jd’s muppetry on this is just sad. Talking about justice for the victim and how even if no charges are to be made he’s still guilty.
Suppose if he hasn't been charged and it's just an allegation you move on. He as a player and Brighton as a club shouldn't be held back from a sale just based on that.
Innocent until proven guilty.
Broadly I get your point about successful prosecution of he said, she said sexual assault cases with no other witnesses. That's because in sexual assault situations charges being laid and found guilty in courts doesn't happen often enough. Take the football and club badges out of this and think of the female who went to the police on this. She's less likely to have the perpetrator found guilty yet still went. One of the 2 is high profile which reduces her chances of seeing justice because of this, yet she still went. She's the one I hope gets justice. Not Yves and not our club, if he is innocent he will get his, if not he will probably get away with it anyway.
Facts are it's more likely to be in order. Whether he did or was witness and didn't stop is another thing.Broadly I get your point about successful prosecution of he said, she said sexual assault cases with no other witnesses.
But just like you can’t tar all accused with the ‘he’s guilty’ brush I can’t tar them all as innocent because there are incidents of false accusations.
Facts atm are. Arrested. Released. Months later still no charge… and you’re talking in a ‘poor victim’ tone. What about the accused? Can have his name dragged through the mud publicly yet nothing of substance has occurred.
Most definitelyIf things end favorably for Bissouma, it will be a tremendous signing for Spurs.
Would he start over PEH?

Pierre and Bissouma with Bentancur and Skipp as the back up partnership
Enough creativity between those two though?

Reckon you'll get third next season with the way you're going.60 goals in 28 games under Conte.

Creativity mostly comes from wingback which is getting a massive upgrade. Eriksen on a free for low blocks to me seems a no brainer I hope is taken.
Would say our creativity both under Conte broadly and after his January acquisitions stacks up well.

1) something happened - no charges
2) something happened - charges but no prosecution
3) something happened - charges and prosecution
4) nothing happened
I'm just saying based on the facts as it is right now which is unknown it's more likely 1-3 than 4 by some way too. Which is why my preference is the victim gets justice.
Of course unless scenario 3 plays out Yves can't be banned from football. I'd just prefer it not to be at my club. And until a scenario plays out its this limbo zone where I'd prefer him not at my club but get the deal as well. Unfortunately if the most likely 2 scenarios play out, the victim doesn't get their justice and we are meant to be happy about having a very good footballer kick a ball around a field.
Most involved in sexual assault investigations don't get charged. Doesn't mean there was no wrong doing. That's my point about the main thing needing to be justice for the victim.Considering that Bissouma's been released from arrest I would suggest that ends Bissouma's involvement in the matter. Bissouma must be allowed the presumption of innocence here especially considering the time frames which would have the police charging him for sure if there was evidence of his guilt.
And surely Levy & Co would not be shelling out 25 million on a player if there was the slightest chance he could be charged and convicted. Contrast that with Benjamin Mendy who was arrested and not even allowed out on bail and charged multiple times.
