He signed in the January and he was good in the first 6 months playing as an 8.

In the second season of Ange, McGregor copped a long term injury and Ange moved O'Riley to 6 and played Mooy at 8. Then when McGregor came back from injury, Mooy kept his place and O'Riley rotated off the bench.

Under Ange he struggled a bit with the high tempo and would be subbed out after 60-70 minutes. That is maybe going to be his query in the PL.

When Rodgers came in, he plays more controlled possession football than Ange, and he moved O'Riley to a 10 and he could run out full games fine. Pushing further forward his goals and assists went through the roof.

I think we will use him as an 8 given our squad make up.

Wieffer and Baleba are the 6 in our system.
