I watched Casciedo and Lavia come up against each other last season. It was pretty even but it seems Lavia is 40M cheaper.

They're not signing both. I'd say its more of a hurry up by Soton to Liverpool then anything actually tangible.


These days FSG bid in increments of 10k & Soton are probably getting annoyed especially as we've just made 52m on two old players otherwise who would have finished their careers with us and left on a free.

We want to sign 2 mids, it was looking like Adams and Caicedo but with Liverpool twiddling their thumbs maybe we'll grab Lavia instead of the Yank. Though I think Liverpool may hurry up a little now and pay the price.
