This is very hard to come to terms with.
Very jarring given the rhetoric from within United.

Ratcliffe through 2025 talking about cost-cutting measures repeatedly. Talking about them being necessary to avoid being broke by Christmas. From closing the canteen to laying off hundreds of people to cutting funding to a past players fund.

While they'll argue those cost cuts enable them to spend on the team, for such a global giant like United to be so cold to those within the club, past and present, and if they sign Sesko to have spent probably £200m on 3 players is something that probably wouldn't sit too well with the people who've been affected by their penny pinching.
