Discussion continuing in Part 2 found here

The IOC requires 12 months of appropriate hormone levels prior to competing.
You think that is enough to effect bone density, muscle mass etc?
Seeing these elite athletes will still be doing everything they have always done to get to the level they are
Also this to me would still be wide open for cheating

I have been saying for pages now I don't agree with the new IOC,s policy.

I know
I am pointing out my objections to it and the AFL rules
Can someone like you have a voice in the community to raise these concerns?
i am getting a group of trans athletes together including Ricki Coughlin the first Aussie trans athlete to discuss these new policies. Joanna Harper a trans athlete and scientist assisted the IOC with their new policy. She studied the performance of 8 trans athletes both pre and post operative. Her studies found that the strength and endurance advantage these trans athletes had was lost after 9 to 12 months of hormone replacement therapy.

I disagree with this especially now permanent sterilisation is no longer required. The AFL has just recently approved for a pre operative trans player in Ballarat to play women's AFL. This player has not had their birth certificate amended or undertaken any hormone replacement therapy.

Where does this happen? Asking for a friend. Seriously though dude, if that's happening to you at urinals you're probably hanging out in the wrong sort of places.
Methinks wishful thinking.

Respectfully disagree. Have had unknown homosexual males look at me peeing on more than one occasion, caught them looking and have observed them pleasing themselves at the same time.
You must start taking those ugliness pills, my magnificent example of rampant heterosexuality. Here's to you baby.

Should be illigal with extremely heavy penalties for anyone under 18 to have a sex change. Saw some ad on TV about this kid who was like 8 and got a sex change and his parents are being treated like heros. What a ******* joke. They need to be in jail. Someone 8 years old can't make that decision. There's no way in hell anyone who's not them should make that decison ever.

No surgical treatment is performed on 8 year old trans children. Puberty blockers that are totally reversible are used in some cases.

Australia has the most rigorous process in the world for a trans child to be given puberty blockers. A court order for trans children to be given puberty blockers must be granted, this is after extensive medical and psychological assessments and a real life social transition are undertaken.

The only forced gender surgery being performed on children is intersexed babies that have indeterminate genitalia. This has proven to be the incorrect treatment as genitalia doesn't necessarily define our gender or sex.

Just saw this post.
I disagree. There is a genuine group who do believe they should be the opposite sex. The problem is, we live in a society where you cannot question anything without being shouted at. This in turn means that what was once silly child's play is being encouraged as a gender dysphoria, when in reality, as I said, it's kids being kids.

I do, however, believe gender is fluid. You are either male or female. If you become a female through gender reassignment surgery, you are female, there is no trans. Gender and sexuality are different and should be treated as such.
In Australia we have male, female and non gender specific birth certificates. A person called Norrie was the first person to be granted a non gender specific birth certificate.

I am a trans women I was born in a male body. I never once was told my DNA or chromosomes would change prior to my transition. In 2006 I achieved the required medical changes to apply for and was granted a female birth certificate. When granted this certificate I didn't suddenly think my chromosomes or DNA had changed all that had changed was I was now legally recognised as a female.

As a trans person I want clarity of who can and who can't use female only facilities. I want policies that are written for trans peoples inclusion in sport to be as fair as possible for both trans and non trans athletes.

The current trend of self identification I respect but I also suggest we need clearer policies on when a trans person can start using the facilities of their non biological gender.

Most gender clinics and counsellors recommend a 12 month real life experience to be undertaken by trans people prior to any gender surgery being approved. Maybe a temporary 12 months identification can be issued for this 12 month period. Transgender people can be granted a 12 month temporary passport in their new gender prior to any surgeries being undertaken.

In sport I suggest the balance of fairness has been tipped massively in favour of the trans athlete with the 2015 IOC amended trans policy.

South Australia recently amended its policies in regards to transgender people having their birth certificates altered. Like the ACT gender confirmation surgery is no longer required in South Australia for transgender people to have their birth certificates amended.

Every male to female person I have met including myself say they always felt like a woman trapped in a mans body. I changed my body drastically with extensive hormone replacement therapy and permanent gender confirmation surgery, breast augmentation and facial feminisation surgeries. I don't agree with trans people being able to change their birth certificates without any physical change. I agree with the issuing of temporary identification for trans people during the pre operative stage of their transition but enabling pre op male to female athletes to compete without permanent testosterone reduction is not fair to genetically born female athletes.

I was never forced to undergo gender confirmation surgery but I was required to have it done to be legally recognised as a woman.

Women's sport should be for women. If trans people want to compete in sport, they should start their own leagues. At the end of the day, however, that's not for me to decide. If women want their leagues to become a circus show, that's up to them. Can't help feel sorry for the biological women who train their asses off only to be surpassed by a trans though.

At leas you have progressed to calling a transgender person trans not trannies and trans so maybe some education has taken place.

I would wager that the majority of women do not want to be playing with men. But of course they can't say anything without being labelled transphobic.

To be honest I would have no issue sharing a changeroom/showers with him. The video does seem like a parody.

watch more of Lauren Southern's videos. She is taking the piss.
Serious question, would you have cared if it was an attractive woman masturbating in a toilet while looking at you?
Gay blokes stalking toilet blocks for casual sex are creepy f**k ups and likely disease traps. Women stalking men in toilet blocks - doesn't happen.

They do in the workplace and sporting fields.
But aren't you against transsexuals competing in women's sport unless they meet a criteria?
