In all seriousness, why wouldn't the Dogs go for him? Grant and Jones are not coming along as well as hoped and in any case, they are different types of forwards to Cloke. They have room in the salary cap. They should do it.
From my POV, I do not think they will and if Cloke goes anywhere, it will be to GWS, because we can match any offer any other club can throw at him.

Just Cloke senior putting in a vendor bid.

GWS probably aware he won't move interstate so have to contrive a fiction in Victoria. But the only way another Vic club can match our offer with our vet's listing advantage is to bankrupt their club. Carlton could have done it, but you can only cook so many books, even their cauldron is full.

I don't blame the Bulldogs for potentially having a crack, however they're even less likely to land him than Freo. Who IMO have close to zero chance themselves.

I saw that link last week and I thought after hearing him speak that it did not look likely he was thinking seriously about moving,he looked like it would take quite a lot for him to move,others and myself have said before that if he already has turned down big money offers from big victorian clubs why would he go interstate.

As for Barratt and his story about WB going after Cloke well they may have inquired what it may take for Cloke to leave but if Cloke did,nt leave to go to the bombers it,s a stretch to see him leaving for the Bulldogs,Barratt,s reporting on this is sensationalist journalism at it,s finest,I think I read that he was a Bulldogs fan and he was telling us what he would like to happen,someone said the other day about the parting of the red sea well this if it were to happen is on the same scale.:D

I'm not particularly worried about any club other than GWS. Collingwood can match or near match all the other clubs on money,and easily match them all on potential premiership success.

GWS has the cap room to blow us away. No other team has that. If he gets an offer he cant refuse from GWS then theres nothing we can do about that.

All the rest of the speculation is a waste of time discussing. Especially if it comes out of the mouth of Barrett who is the biggest moron in the football media

I'm not stressing over Cloke leaving.
If it happens it happens and whoever gets him pays over the odds and he's cashed up.

With the number of inside 50's the Dees have been clocking up each game as of late, Cloke wouldn't even begin to solve their issues. If they can't even get the ball down there, then that's problem numero uno!

I don't care I don't know if I believe the bloke but he's been right about most things so who knows. He also said that in Pendles contract he will be captain next year. So who knows. He always has David Cloke with him but is a Melb cotery member so who knows.

He's not a mate as such he's a client. Look he's told us a lot of stuff and like he said Travis may sign for Collingwood tomorrow but at this stage there looking at best long term deal. It is fact he was there as a witness to when David signed for Collingwood .
