Hardly any of our players WERE fully fit all year.

Mighty Mick, it's not particuarly gracious of you to slag off at Bradley in such a manner, especially seeing he was hardly Robinson Caruso.

Many players were / are on the take for extra dough, the players only concerns are his bank account and the team winning. How the club pays him, and the rest of the players, is up to the club administration.

If the player demands too much, and cannot be negotiated with, cast him adrift, that is the clubs choice, just as it's the clubs choice to break salary cap rules.

Anyway, having seen the very young Bradley come into the Port Adelaide Magpies team, I was privileged to see the birth of an outstanding career. He would have won a Magarey Medal, if he didn't cut his season short to tour England with a junior Australian Cricket team.

His 98 Magpie games were of sufficient quality to earn him a place in the Port Team of the Century, hardly a mug effort when considering the plethora of Magpie champions available for selection.

ps. How certain can you be that Micky Martyn didn't also accept under the table payments? I have no idea if he did or didn't, but it is a valid question to ask of all modern players. It is not a question though that diminishes the quality of a career
