A few clues.

It is a positive achievement, not a negative one (eg number of ducks)
He shares it with a recognized batsman
It is nothing to do with his bowling

Be a part of two 10th wicket partnerships above 100?
Cha-ching!!

We have a winner.

Glenn McGrath is one of only two players in the history of Test cricket who has been in 2 century stands for the 10th wicket.

(Once with Gillespie and once with Hussey).

I was at the MCG in 05 for the Hussey/McGrath partnership, probably one of the better moments I've seen live. Recalling that made me instantly think Pidge would hold some sort of record like this!

Cricinfo tells me Nathan Astle (with Morrison and Cairns).

Here's another one.

This test match provides the record for what in Test cricket?

http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/64048.html

I am after a particular record, quite obscure. :)

Hint - whilst top of the list in Test cricket, it is only 8th in the list for first-class cricket.

most runs conceded with only 5 bowlers? or
Only innings where all bowlers conceeded over 100 runs

Not what I am looking for.

But it does relate to Hayden's score.

Two batsman both scored a century in the same session (Hayden and Gilchrist)?

It's the largest discrepancy between two opening batsmen's scores (354 runs) but I get the feeling that's not the answer.

Some years ago when Glenn Mitchell was with the ABC he used to have a daily quiz.

I actually won it one day for this question:

Who is the odd one out and why?
Allan Border, Kerry O'Keefe, Stave Waugh and Ricky Ponting?
