Saw this tonight as well. Some of my mates thought it was average and some, myself included, thought it was brilliant.

But the one thing everyone agreed on was how unbelievable Robert Downey Jr's performance was. Worth seeing just for him.

Saw it last night, thought it was fantastic, the trailers at the start set a good pace, the jokes come quick and fast throughout the whole movie, and while there are some hit and miss, most usually hit their mark well.

Downey Jr. was amazing, up there with Heath Ledger's Joker performance IMO, the guy has reinvented himself into something brilliant.

The only downer was the poor use of Jack Black, had some funny lines(Especially the "Let's move. We only have 16 hours before they wake up." line), but wasn't used well enough.

Jack Black = Seriously over rated and barely funny IMO.

However, am very keen to see this, probably tommorrow afternoon. Will give my uneducated opinion then.

Funniest Bloke Movie for a long long time. 9/10

Don't worry about takin the missus (though chicks would enjoy also), this is one to see with The Boyz.

There was not a thing I disliked about this movie at all, eve Jack Black was good.

I absolutely hated School of Rock. I have liked his work in a couple of things though. High Fidelity for ex. HAve found most of his work lame though. Is good in this movie though.

Was quite funny - not the best comedy of the year though (Forgetting Sarah Marshall is).
Jack Black is not a funny fat man - he is NOT the next Chris Farley, John Belushi, etc. (although he had some well written lines in this film)
I have a hard on for RDJ so I liked his role a lot.
"Pump your brakes kid, that man's a national treasure."
Stiller was pretty typical Stiller.
Cruise was a highlight definitely.

Guess what. Ben Stiller was the most part, the straight man in this movie. His character was not there to generate as many laughs himself, but to provide the springboard for the other characters. Comedy 101.
