Yeah i agree, but for depth....id rather him then Ben Johnson, who is a rookie listed player i think? but id rather Selwood as that man then Johnson...i have seen Johnson play about 12 games now and i dont think i have seen him do a good thing in one of them.

Wouldn't object to him getting a spot on the rookie list. Could be useful as a run-with player.

No, if he was a tall defender maybe but we have great depth in mids as a pose to defence and he'd simply be blocking up a spot for our young mids.

That said I love the way he goes about his footy and he's a good leader for the kids.

From what I have watched, Full Back/ Centre Half Back seems to be his spot at the moment; his disposal has improved greatly and reading the play as well seems to be improved.

Instead of Selwood, maybe look at Simpkin or McLean as a rookie???

I know McLean is 27-28, but could be a good depth player to possibly have available whilst the likes of Josh Walker and Bathie develop in the VFL???

Did a number on Judd. Would be a handy Ling replacement as a run with player.

FB/CHB as well as pinch hitting in the ruck when we haven't had a second recognised ruckman, as was the case on Saturday. He's developing very well. Long way to go yet to make the top grade but after half a season I can see why they took the punt on him, he does have ability.

i was surprised that brisbane delisted him and there was no talk of him going anywhere. he's always seemed a solid player to me.

but i don't think we need him at AFL level. if there are spots available at the moment they should be going to players 8 years younger than him

Simpkin is already on the rookie list.at the start of the year l thought he might get some AFL games but his form dropped of a bit. mclean or raidme might get a rookie spot from the players in the VFL.bathie looks like he could be a player l like how he goes about it.

Simpkin has been good all year, it's just a hard side to break into. Balme recently said if they were to promote a rookie (he didn't say they would though) that it would likely be Simpkin.

Agree on NcLean Raidme and Bathie.
