How's the absolute ****ing moron of a ref who accidentally trips over his freshly broken leg just afterwards. How dumb can you be? Say what you like about Matthew Nicholls, I'd rather see a thousand dodgy umpiring calls than see somebody do that again.

to be fair looking at the position of the rest of his body he couldn't have expected a foot to be there, at that angle

Someone at work recommended I watch Love Death & Robots on Netflix

This is a show you can't watch on the train

It's almost as embarrassing that time years back when I was reading Nabokov's Lolita and looked up to see a trainload of Mitcham High students sitting around me on the bus

Never finished it in the end

I had a Scottish boss back in the early 80's who used to describe Aussie bottled Johnny Red as fire water that a true Scot wouldn't use to fuel his lawn mower.
Apparently the stuff bottled in Scotland is better due to the quality of the water, but back then it was only available here as ship's stores and virtually impossible to get.

Give me a single malt like Cardhu any day over that blended stuff. :thumbsu:
Why were they adding water when bottling a blended whisky?

I don't know for sure but when I was in the liquor industry I was told United Distillers imported Johhny Red in bulk as an `essence' and added Aussie water when it was bottled in this country.

I do know that ship's stores Johnny Red was bottled in Scotland, but was only available under bond through licensed ship's chandlers, and there for not available to the general public.

United Distillers lost the Johhny Walker franchise in the late 1980's when JW restructured and withdrew its bottling agreements world wide, so the product available now is probably the real thing.

Johnnie Walker for the Australian market is distilled in Japan now. Diageo and Kirin formed a JV in 2009.

My stepmum used to breed kittens. Id have three or four of them swiping at the AFL Live Xbox game players on the TV, the little campaigners.
