Lowlife Scumbag.

Did anyone just saw him just deliberatelt throw there racquet up in the air to put Grosjean off his shot.

It was fair, Grosjean shud of buried that regardless.

Kiefer's conduct has been pathetic the whole game.

I was just about to start a thread on him myself.

Absolute tosser, ********er, pathetic. He went of his tree before on numerous occasions when he was wrong in the first place. And I loved the 10 minute injury time-out at the start of the 5th set.

His conduct has been pathetic all game.

I want Grosjean to win this so bad.

Damn it, Grosjean's one of my favourite players as well.

Kiefer's a ********ing ********er. I'm not a huge Roger fan but I hope he embarasses him in the semis.

I can't wait to see the biggest scumbag on the planet Kiefer and his **************** coach get the thrashing of there lives in the semi's.

Kiefer's conduct today was attrocious. No respect for the umpire at all (I wonder if he'll get an apology for all the abuse for the correct decisions?) In the end he got on the end of some very favourable calls, and it's Grosjean who should feel hard done by.

I watched that match.
I have never ever seen anything like it.

At best, it was poor sportmanship, it was deliberate. You watch his eyes.
The umpire got it wrong, he was weak all match.Keifer should have been violated more that once. Kharma Keifer.

I was so disappointed today
I admit I'm one of those people who only really follows the tennis in grand slams. I try to follow it more but it just gets hard I usually give up after Wimbledon, so admittingly I don't see much of Kiefer but I remember a few years ago when he was down match point when his opponent (I forget who) hit a good shot that was called out by the umpire. Kiefer told the umpire to overule it because he saw it was good meaning his opponent won a close match. This was a decision I remember and one I always talk about when a great act of sportmanship is talked about. As a result of this I have alwayds been a fan of Kiefer
But what the hell was he doing today. He's actions were discraceful and I'm so disappointed that the man I always paint as a great sportman can stoop so low as to throw his racket
Makes me wonder who the Kiefer was who overuled the umpire years ago, was he the same man, or have I in fact had him confused with someone else this whole time or did I in fact dream the whole incident

Nothing wrong with throwing your racquet, could have won him the point if it got a ricochet. He won it anyway.
Within the rules, smart play... get over it.

??? I thought actually that throwing your raquet was against the rules. Seemed to recall a commentator saying it one year.. and why would have Grojean have gone off his tree like he did?

If Grosjean had of hit the ball over the net and somehow Kiefer's thrown racquet managed to hit the ball and it goes into play, I'm pretty sure that the point would be Grosjean's you have to have the racquet in your hand when hitting the ball.

INTERNATIONAL TENNIS FEDERATION : RULE 26 - Hinderance

If a player is hindered in playing the point by a deliberate act of the opponent(s), the player shall win the point.

Kiefer's racquet throw was a deliberate act of hinderance as far as I'm concerned and he should have been punished accordingly which he wasn't.

The ********er Kiefer's complaining again.

What's that the 100th time?

I've always been a fan of Grosjean's though. So cool. Along with Carlos Moya one of my two favourite players on circuit.
Yeah same, I like Grosjean and sad to see Moya not play in this tournament either.

With the incident, it was pretty poor from Kiefer. That shouldn't be allowed, which is why other distractions like the crowd are told "quiet please".

Kiefer will get smashed by Federer.

Wasn't hindered
Can't lose a point if you throw your racquet
As i said.. within the rules everyone does it, smart play so get over it.
Kiefer deserved to win.

He through the racket over the net nearly straight at Grosjean, how much more of a hinderance can you get?
