We were shocking but in the players' defence, even though they had a dog of a day and they fought it out for a win.

We were a runner down for most of the match (that player was leading possessions when he went off) and Davis is a star. Went off in the 3rd with a dislocated finger, came back on at the end and won us the game.

MM is one of the best in the business at lifting his underdog team to a big victory in a big game.
MM also has a tendency to let his teams come into a sure win game and serve up the shit we did today.

A loss today would´ve been disastrous especially given we have the Saints and Hawks the next 2 weeks but apart from the 4 points there is almost nothing positive to take away from the game.

Agree with Maxy other than the last quarter when some of the things he did were simply inspirational I thought.

Reid was good I thought. Smashed his direct opponent and won the ball 12 times so I don't see what he did wrong?? Played on Newton for the majority of the game and kept him to 4 touches. Even though Newton is a hack I think that's a positive performance from Reid.

Agree with you on Thomas he was sensational and Beams is just a star. He reminds me of Selwood in so many ways it's scary.

Also on Thomas - he has a habit of playing his best football when we are playing our worst football. I think he is on the way to fulfilling his potential and when he does, he is going to be the guy to pull the team out of a hole when the backs are against the wall.

Dont agree with Thomas, was very soft today and his disposal was very poor. Struggled to hit targets and made stupid decisions.

How the **** could you seriously be impressed with Maxwell?

My heckin'g goodness he would have to be the most overrated player to ever don the black and white. He was deplorable, was soundly beaten turned the ball over got in the way of Reid several times and didn't even get the spoil in.

Just like last week he played shit for 3 quarters then a had brilliant last quarter all of a sudden people were saying he was best on...

This goes beyond my personal view of him, seriously...
