I can't believe I agree with NN on this one, but his disposal is absolutely awful. Would've had close to 10 possessions in the first quarter but at least half were turnovers. :thumbsd:

Lift your game Tyson.

And this deserved a new thread :rolleyes:
Yes, because it’s not just this game. NN pointed it out a month or two ago, I didn’t really want to listen to it but I think she’s pretty much on the money. He’s having no trouble finding the ball, but his disposal is letting him down badly. He’s just not really all that damaging by foot anymore.

I still think he is one player you want to have the ball. Maybe a little bit slower than he once was but he is going ok for mine.

Many of the side are struggling to put in a whole game for mine.

I thought Tyson had a good 1st half, but died out of the game in the 2nd. Perhaps age is catching up with him.

That and Ling tagged him as soon as Goodwin went off.

Edwards has been very patchy game to game, but he's far from alone.

I'm glad I didn't come here last evening, cos I would have told you to ram your comments down your negative throat.

His efforts in the first half help keep us in the game. You also over state his disposal efforts.

I was at the Melbourne game and saw actually how his game panned out.

He peeled off his man to be the loose link man, but we constantly coughed up the pill and usually his man was the one to receive it once that happened. It wasn't his bloody fault.

Macca coughed the ball up a couple of times, didn't see you mention his name, likewise Kenny, likewise Roo kicked to a 2 on one contest when a team member was open on his on, no mention there. And Stevens well.... what about his efforts passing the backlines for a couple of games.

Get off their backs for god sake.

Tough times always sort the Wheat from the Chaff in any supporterbase. I'm guessing Drummond is one of those maggots that stand by the race and yell abuse at their players as they come off the ground after a loss.

Thats a bit harsh.
Tyson can get out of a slippery situation but has become a bit like Ben Hart in latter years ...he gets caught.Remember Carrazos tackle two weeks ago.

His turnovers were up yesterday.

His main problem as a midfielder has been accountablity I reckon. He used to be fast enough to get away with it by chasing down his opposite midfielder but this doesn't happen much now so we're seeing the opposition's runners just run amok as Ablett did yesterday.

His days in the middle are just about through. I'd either put him on the back flank/back pocket where his poise and rebound will still be valuable, or he could be that elusive small forward/crumber that we desperately need - a role he's cameoed before with success.
