From what I know, Oakleigh didn't cut any players pre- christmas, so they'll have to wait until they return to find out.

Plenty of survivors and cuts must be made across all top U16 representative sides soon I reckon.

I assume the SANFL and WAFL U16's sides undergo the same survive and cut process like what (used to be the CTL) the (for lack of a better term) the Teal sides in Victoria do.


From last year's U15 to this year's U16, another edition of who wants it more will be enacted.

I’ve seen this age group from the U11s.
Liam Grybas and Mason Evans are underage.
Tell you what though, and not to be too harsh, there’s a fair few kids in this squad that should consider themselves lucky - 4 of which are privately coached by one of Eastern’s coaches.

Oakleigh cut 25 in Feb and another 10 to go tonight bringing the list down to 35. The final 5 will probably stay until just before the official first game when the list is finalised at 30.
