I feel bad for Pantoja. What a disappointing way to have a great reign ended. Van the 2nd youngest champ and 1st Asian born male UFC champ in history.

True, a bit like Weideman checking Silva's kick in the rematch. He made the right play. It's still bad luck for the guy getting a horrific injury though.

I think Van will be a fun champ anyway and defend until Pantoja is recovered.

Yan put on a masterclass. Not sure if Merab was maybe too active this year. Four title defenses going the distance in a single year is crazy work. Hopefully has a deserved rest and we get to see a trilogy.

As much as a skid might sound like I’m negative on him it was purely based on win loss record.

He definitely got some garbage decisions. Dana would be proud.
