Buddy pushes Lonners in thr throat before his lead, nothing.

SJ clashes hands/arms with buddy and it is a buddy free.

Buddy is contested on the lead auto free.

Osborne was dirty, punches to the guts after player kicks the ball, nothing is paid

after last week i get why players have a mental fade

corey kicks a clearing kick to touch, deliberate

can't remember too many soft geelong frees

I just want to know about the 50meter rule, we got one paid against us for not getting out of the area, yet Cyril stood next to Harry Taylor(2nd qtr, 65m out) for 5 minutes yet no 50? Anyone else find this strange?

I was pulling my hair out of a couple of times today... but I don't think it was massively one-sided.

I feel they were a tad inconsistent at times. All day they hadn't given frees for players being held without the ball, ALL DAY. Then about 10 minutes to go in the last Q, Buddy gets a free for barely being held without it. I was screaming.

Was tolerable overall though.

The bolded one was staggering considering he was pushed just as he kicked it, yet about 10 minutes later a Hawks player was about 20m away from the line on the wing, was about to get tackled, and kicked or handballed the ball straight over the line and got away with it.

Still don't know why Pods was pinged for holding the ball too when the tackler had the ball pinned to his chest, and Pods' arms were pinned in the tackle too. How is he meant to get the ball out in that situation?

This one was covered in the rules of the game DVD at the start of the year. The player in Pod's situation has to show the umpire that he is at least trying to make an attempt at getting the ball out.

How was Pod's meant to do this in this situation? Only way was to flop around like a beached fish just to give the umpire that out. If players just lay there and submit they are going to get pinged every time

Buddy had the umpires love yesterday, no doubt about that. They were very poor and inconsistent i thought. Would love for a stat that shows the umpires indivdually with free's for and against and which part of the ground they were payed. This might make them a bit more accountable. I think the same umpire payed all of buddys and then didn't give selwood one for the incident with whitecross that he deemed an accident.

Lack of consistency is my biggest issue. How we didn't get a 50 after the Hawks played on, then held up even longer feigning confusion, then they threw it over the Cats player's head!

Also, I think it was Pods having a set shot on a tight angle near the goal square and the Hawks players appeared to be standing about 2-3 meters away from him. I thought they had to be at least 5 meters away?

Totally agree pinion.... Tough gig for umpires I know however they need to be calling the same decisions at the 5 min mark of the first qtr as they do at the 25th min mark of the last qtr. Also, please don't even get me started on ruck infringements!!!....
