True, we had chances to seal the deal. Losing Eddie Betts was a huge blow. He's always great in the last. We have a much brighter future than the Crows, who need to resort to rubbish football.

I am sick of getting rorted every fu**en week. todays umpiring was a fu**en disgrace, I am so close to just not watching anymore i just go ******* when i am watching the umpires every week.Its not just us that get rorted its 15 other teams do as well (except the crows today). They are all little fu**ing maggot slimy c*nts who have never played footy in there life. The standard of umpiring these days is a fu**ing joke. Dont they realise it is a contact sport bodies go in hard and ther is going to be contact. If a player falls over and the opposition players leg accidently bumps him in the head its a high tackle they give a free kick and thats fu**ed. When steven browne pushed the crows player under the ball in the side,shoulder area and marked it the last quarter it was a free against him i asked myself what what wrong with that it wasnt in the back. The standard of umpiring is pathetic and they are totally fu**king up our great game. Oh yeah and the blues played a very poor game today one of there poorest this season i think.

The Browne contest (Was Gill the diving Crow?) was an absolute low point in what had been an pretty ordinary game for the umps. And we always seemed to be the team getting punished.

If an umpire can't handle the influence of the crowd at the AAMI cauldron, then don't run them there!

That disadvantage aside, we could have easily have won it.

some of what you're talking about sounds like the domain of the rules committee, which the umpires merely have to enforce. not that the umpires were all that inspiring, but i think the rules committee can take a share of turning the game to shit.

That was one of the most bizarre pieces of umpiring I've ever seen. How could he not bring it back?

In an interstate game you can usually tell in the first 5 mins what the "attitude" of the umpires is. Unfortunately it was one of looking after the home team and appeasing the parochial crowd. The free against Grigg to Moran was the poorest decision of the year- and Huddo had the audacity to back it up as legitimate!!!???

On the point of umpiring I noticed Juddy being held off the ball at some stoppages- I thought the umpires were cracking down on that? When the crows dropped off in the last 1/4 Juddy started to get a clear run on it and it was game on.

the problem is they want to be the stars of the game.At one stage which was noted by blighty on ten out of 43 frees given that ryan had given 20.And the one with fev why did he have to come charging in like a w***er blow the wistle and stay out of the play.as for razor ray he is a f***ing dog.

dont believe i read that carlton supporters implied it was unique to only one team, i personelly am convinced there are 14 other teams that get prefferable treatment when they play us, not just you guys, and um he did trip fev i seen it and in fact the replay footage shows it very clearly, if you dont believe me just have a look, simple realy, and surely YOU are familiar with simple yes.

It's our own fault we didn't win, but f..k me if the umps didn't make it a lot harder than it needed to be. Still, i think that's a factor sometimes in games whre 90% of the crowd is barracking for one side.

I thought it was terrible whilat at the game, but didn't say anything at the time coz i hate the sound of people umpiring about umpires BUT then a mate who barracks for neither side sent me a text saying "adelaide's best players were the umpires - you were robbed".

Oh well.

You do realise that Fev got frees at times when he took the mark anyway or when someone else played on and got the goal so the frees were nothing more than statistics on a couple of occasions.
