No sane person can deny that the umpires are applying the rules differently to Port now. It’s just so blatantly obvious.
Good job we train for that in the SANFL

What about when we were paid a free kick but instead of the Collingwood player giving the ball back, they placed it on the ground 15m from the mark and ran away? Then his teammate (Adams?) decides to remonstrate with the Port player who tries to retrieve the ball. How TF that isn't a 50m penalty is beyond me.
One of the Collingwood player had his back to the ball and was not watching the ball over his shoulder but was looking forward at Robbie who was attempting to contest the ball. That is as clear a block as you'll ever see. Maybe the umpire didn't pay it because Robbie exaggerate the fact that he was clearly blocked illegally. How about the time that Robbie was in the goal square with two Magpies players who effectively sandwiched him, one front on, so he couldn't take a mark, and the call was "play on".
Good times roll.

Yeah listening to SEN Vic this morning all the Collingwood supporters were complaining about the Grundy "push in the back" in the last minute. You know we had a bad run yesterday when even Dermie is bringing it up on the air.
Whether it was the inconsistencies in the marking contests (AA "spoiled" etc), not being allowed to line up off the mark to take the shot for SPP but Crisp was allowed such leeway, the Taylor Adams flop reversal, the centre bounce non-recalls despite them going right down Grundy's throat only to be recalled when it favoured us. Then you've got the Robbie Gray block in the contest in the 4th quarter by Maynard, a potential OOF in the final minute called a throw in. Even Quaynor's duck into McKenzie with 15 seconds to go should have been holding the footy.
And yet you know the Vics will overlook all of that and blame the umpires for Grundy not getting a free kick for in the back with 45 seconds to go - because that cost the Pies the game.

It's unbelievable that in a sport with such wide spread gambling that the way umpires influence results on a regular basis by incorrectly and inconsistently applying the rules isn't subjected to more scrutiny.New Delhi Nicholls
Rajasthan Ray
Mumbai Margetts
They all know bookies in India.
Arguing that after running 10m with the ball, taking on 3 tacklers and producing a poor excuse for a handball 5 seconds later constitutes a legal disposal is farcicalThe non holding the ball just a min before that gave Walker the shot is the bigger story here - that’s a problem that’s been happening all year and should never have been let to play on.
A 50 metre penalty was paid against SPP either last year or the previous year for that. He was tackled on the ground, holding the ball went against him, and instead of handing the ball to the opposition player he placed the ball on the turf where he lay and stood up. A 50 metre penalty was paid against him immediately.
Commentators - "its a tough one but he really needs to be more aware and smarter than that".
Multiple timesSPP being told he wasn't allowed to start off his line was an absolute beauty.
The one who was front on was Maynard. He wasn't even looking at the ball. Literally didn't even try to pretend that he wasn't blocking, still no free. How about the time that Robbie was in the goal square with two Magpies players who effectively sandwiched him, one front on, so he couldn't take a mark, and the call was "play on".

Not just the Collingwood supporters but Dwayne as well.

If he bothered to look at the replay he would see it is clearly a fall caused by legs intertwining.
