Every other side gives away (I think) 2 standard deviations less than their average free kicks when they play us. Basically, they play a way cleaner game against us and then will revert to the mean the very next game.
Oppo supporters and media are useless. Every argument raised by them is garbage:
Take Lynch for example. Playing the same position and way his entire career.
- Their players play on the edge: We've turned over just about our whole list.
- It's the way they play: We changed coach, gamestyle, players etc. Doesn't matter if we're 1st or 18th, same result.
- Dimma factor: At Gold Coast they're top of the league in free kick differential.
- You just give away more: In general we don't care about what we give away, we care about what isn't received. Roksman's analysis proves that.
He's receiving basically the same amount despite a lot more ball coming his way playing in a much better team but is giving away more despite playing against the same defenders.
- At Gold Coast he averaged 1.13 frees for per game and 1.18 frees against per game.
- At Richmond he averages 1.15 frees for per game and 1.39 frees against per game.
Lynch is a microcosm of the issue. From 2017 to now, every variable has changed except the jumper, however the result is the same. If that's not bias then I don't know what is.

Like who runs the cheer squad? who are they?
Liverpool FC has the Spirit of Shankley and other groups that are very vocal when the club F's up

There’s only one table that I care about.
fixedPremierships 2017 to 2023
Richmond 3
West Coast 1
Melbourne 1 (stand rule flag*)
Geelong 1 (stand rule flag*)
Collingwood 1 (umpires flag*)
Everyone else 0
2 flags left on the table thanks to shockings rule changes to end our dynastyI loved watching us rebuild and win three flags, and feel that the club is on its way to doing something similar again.
I’ll rather focus on our successes than give the umps a second thought.

they cop it sweetSeriously I would like to know what the club is doing about this biased umpiring. Has someone put together a montage of examples like the Newcombe/Hopper no free/free and gone to the AFL to ask for a please explain on the discrepancies.
Whilst I don't expect our team to win the free kick count every week I do expect that we are umpired in a consistent, unbiased manner and rule interpretations are the same for the competing teams.
As an interstate member, I am getting frustrated by this issue and have at times questioned the point of being member and even following the code.
CFLa hawforn fan on twitter reckons its their turn to get the rub of the green .. theyre on top of the free kick ladder by far
wasnt aware they rotate it
still waiting for our turn after about 100 years
