I know we cant blame the game on this but was ****ing shit as the game progressed they must of made about 3 new rules
1. not allowed to touch judd
2. not allowed to touch an eagles player
3. not allowed within 5m of an eagles player
seemed like every time we were about to get going they pulled some bullshit freekick outa there arse
 
Agreed. What was the free kick count?
 
23 free kicks to 22 in the end I think. We were just giving away too many stupid free kicks, especially 50m penalties. The free kick count at half time was 18-9 in favour of the Dockers, you have nothing to complain about.

agreed ... to blame the umpires on this one guys is just stupid!

oh k fealt like every time we got the ball WCE got a free kick i thought it woulda bin bout 30 to 10 or something very surprised

I'm surprised too. From where I was sitting it looked like we got nothing and deserved about 10 more.
 
The main thing that disappointed me was the numerous times Eagles players disposed of the ball illegally, when tackled. Surely if they're tackled, they need to dispose of the ball by kick or handpass, unless the ball is jarred loose under a bump or tackle. So many eagles throws were unpinged tonight.

Troy Cook should make an appointment with a doctor, get a complete check up from all angles. While he has a one of the best backbones. He obviously does not have a back that encloses it.

Oh please don't bring this old chestnut out. The discipline in your side has been atrocious this season. I would have a go at some of your players for the position you are in now.Blame the umpires? Oh my gawd.

Yes the umpiring was a disgrace...

But that did not loose us the game...

Poor skills costed us the game...You can have all the champion forwards up front..But if you kick over their head..You are going to miss everytime.
 
Can't blame the umpies for this one I'm afraid. They were as crap as ever but both teams copped it at different times. We had a good run in the first half and then a complete about face after half time with the eagles getting every 50-50.

One that really stood out for me though (besides the Dodd deliberate OOB call) was 1st play of the day. Freo free kick and an eagle (Embley was it?) tackles a Freo player on the wing after the whistle had gone = nothing done and ball comes back to Hase for the free. Very next centre bounce eagles free kick and Solly tackles an eagle after the whistle had gone = 50m penalty and eagles goal. Umpiring consistency at it's finest.
 
They will have to get Mick Ball to explain what the Umpires were doing!

Mick Ball, they cant be serious he's flat out putting a sentence together and they actually pay him. Does any other Club employ a former umpire?
 
Well the umpiring was shithouse today no consistency what soever, there were a few decissions which were very influencial to the outcome of the game. The first being murphy's very obvious push in the back in the 3rd Quater, we had all the momentum at the time the fact the umpires missed that is ****ing pathetic. The other being Archers free kick for high contact when tarrant copped the same kinda thing if not worse a few minutes later and was not given a free. I am not blaiming the umpires but they were pathetic today no consistency with any decissions which may have influenced the outcome of the match.
