Crows-Pies is one of the lesser known rivalries in footy. Both teams have played in several classics over the years including two classics in 2023.

Which are the lesser known rivalries in the AFL outside the traditional rivals and derbies?

in what way is a head to head record of 15-1-33, including 0-3 in finals, in any sense a rivalry?
15 games where the margin is less than a kick over the history between the two clubs lends itself to a rivalry. Two games I can think of being decided after the siren. That’s my humble take on it.

Geelong v Lions has been underrated. Had great games like the miracle in grass and recently played in a lot of big finals.

It's pretty one sided though, similar to the Crows/Pies point.

There's been some good games, but they've been our bunnies for 20 years, including two prelim floggings.

Eagles/Pies looked like becoming one for the ages a couple years back. Unfortunately WC's deterioration has caused the end of that.
