Clark gone, Garland and Rivers providing strong bodies up forward. See no reason why we shouldn't put some games into the Cookie Monster.

Cook isn't ready to come in and have any real impact. Having said that, I'd be fine with giving him a couple of games, just a bit of a taste, but he's not ready to step up.

You'd think we'll keep Garlo and Riv up forward and give Davis a run down back if more talls are needed. Hopefully Petterd can work his way back soon and Jurrah gets back before 2013...

From where we are at this point in the season I'm happy to play Davis and Cook in a few games, Davis to come in this week and Cook in a few weeks time if he is in good form for Casey

Only a matter of time, but i reckon Troy Davis will debut this week and Watts might just move forward.

Was just about to say the same thing. Seem's the more logical move to make with Davis having sustained good form at VFL level all season. If Strauss were available would say this with 100% certainty as he could play Watts' role. However this is not the case so it comes down to weather Neeld is okay losing Watts as a quaterback.. Will get a game before seasons end however with no clark..

Id love Cook picked just so I can watch him play a game, I almost forgot he existed to be honest. Having said that I think Martin will come in and play forward and switch around with Jamar.

Think Id rather leave Cook at Casey and maybe give him a token run or 2 at the end.

Stef Martin is the man, along with Petterd and Jurrah if fit.

Jai Sheahan is one from left feild that might earn himself a couple of late games if he keeps developing.

Can't believe I'd not thought about Ricky Bobby here :thumbsu:

So, as far as our forward line goes the rest of the year, we've got Ricky, Garland, Riv, Howe, Stef, the Russky, Dunn, and the 'Cane when he's back up and running. Add Sylvia to that list as well I think, he's done alright as a lead-up forward at times in the past.

Give him a game against Norf in rd 18, then GC the next week. Maybe rest him against the Saints, then put him in again for GWS at Canberra. Won't have to travel (except Canberra) and none of those teams have 'monster' full backs who can ragdoll him (although he is a twig, so could probably be thrown around by almost anyone). I think he deserves a taste of AFL footy and by then he should have built up a fair bit of match fitness and form with Casey (hopefully).
Tynan could be worth giving a few games to as well later on; I didn't get to see him against the Lions in rd 1.

Would like to see him get 1 or 2 Dees games before the end of the season but won't argue if they don't play him, they know what they're doing I guess.

I would be surprised if they did - he would need to be elevated obviously.

But he has certainly been good for a first year rookie KPP from all reports - Id love to get a look a him.

Well there's the mid-season rookie nomination up our sleeve if we want to use it but they probably wouldn't pull that trigger just for a couple of games at the end of the year.

We could always put Clark onto the LTI if we wanted to check out a rookie, couldn't we?

Yep, that's an option as well. Makes Couch a little more interesting. Surely if they wanted to keep him elevated they wouldn't have to go through the red tape of removing then re-instating (ie transferring from Jetta >> Clark) so you'd think they just simply didn't need him.
