Well i've never been a member of the Western Bulldogs, because i've never worked, but have went down most weekends, time after time, seeing all the great games, incl the final series in 97/98 i've been there at all times, however i would hope you would understand that i was previously unemployed and $90 was a bit much for a 16 year old that had no job

anyways no excuses this year got a job and i do plan to sign up however, i will buy the 17 game membership concession, but unforunately i've found a deterant being it doesn't admit you to the level 1 of the telstra dome.

I know all the Telstra dome clubs are similar in this regard and i was wondering with someone with a background of the system, do i buy an upgrade to get down to level 1? or do i get any discount in going down to level 1 being a member of the club?

could somone(s) please reply & tell me what i could do to purchase a membership for the club, and at the same token, get my own benefit by sitting down on level 1?

Level 1- budget- $99
Level 1-Premium-$143

The budget ons is around the cheersquad area and that, and the premiun is on the wings(i think its like that anyway).

the reserved seat, so i pay $120 for a 17 game membership, and then pay another $99 to sit down the bottom for the year? sry i'm not understanding u right..

Yep thats right. Hey at least you dont have to pay $242,and it is for the club, so isnt it worth it.

I dont think you do get a discount. I think it works out cheaper to get a seat now.

i bet i'm not the only one wanting to go buy a membership for their club, and sit down the bottom for a standard price, all the clubs @ the mcg can..

people won't buy memberships if they can only see from the top, and thats a cause of why our supporters won't join up, having to spend extra on reserved seating, just sucks

i think that moving to docklands may have "seemed" like a good place to go too, but i believe the MCG will always be the best option for victorian clubs to go too

however i like the telstra dome but its seating $ arrangements suck, and the typical football fan is getting ripped off everytime u went "typical" football seats

anyways will be at the game tommorow, i'll most likely find out the details of the arrangement and buy a membership before the richmond game next week (which i'll be attending again)

Thats true, and thats why a lot of members have drobed off.Why should we have to pay for a seat as well, colional (oops i mean telstra dome) are making a lot of money anyway, and they would make even more it they were like the mcg and let people sit where ever they want. Fair enough keep level 2 the way it is but yeah let people sit on level 1 as well. Trust me if they did it that way, we would have a lot more members and colional (oops i did it again) would have a lot more people through the gates.

Don't undervalue a Level 4 seat, especially among the front rows. Personally, I reckon it's great being able to see the whole ground clearly, and if you are a keen follower of tactics and player moves it's probably the best spot for that kind of supporter.

Hey Kidd Rocker I pay around $260 for both my membership ticket and my seat.My membership is a conc 17 and I have a lvl 1 seat.If you dont want to pay the money for a seat then dont pay it but it is more cheaper than buying it on a weekly basis.Darky is right though bout the first few rows they are pretty good to to sit in especially on the wing you can get a pretty good veiw of the game.

yes thats a good point and all well and good, however is it in the best interests of the "typical" or majority of the bulldog supporters out there?

i wouldn't think so, and i believe u have a fair point by saying, yes people do like sitting up there, well its the same for level 1, so i say why not even the playing field and let the supporters go where they like? and in sellouts or fianl games, use the level 1/4 system

i agree with mel when she says keep level 2, i haven't sat there yet, but i wouldn't class it higher then level 1.. depends where ur footy background is..

i'm a loud vocal supporter so therefore i prefer the bottom where most of the atmosphere is with the cheersquads

Have to agree with that Level 4 (first 4-5 rows) centre wing is better for me than the flat view you get on level 1.

I despise being on the bottom level. Level 3 (what was level 4 at TD is now level 3) can be a bit too far off especially if you don;t get their early, but is still better than the bottom IMO.

Kidd Rocker i actually sit along the 50 metre area and we pay premium seats.If you want to sit along the wing on lvl one im not sure what you will get around this time youll get a few rows back as most people wouldve either renewed the seat but their should be seating along there not sure how far back you will get though.If you sit near the cheersquad that will be cheaper the name of the seating escapes me at the moment but its more cheaper than the premium seats I pay for.

I'd rather watch from an elevated view, so I very rarely sit in level 1, but if you wait until 1/4 time the clowns in purple give up and let anyone sit anywhere.

Occasionally I have access to Level 2 Medallion Club seats. Behind the northern goals (roughly behind the eastern point post), three rows from the front.

Nothing, no NOTHING beats that. It's probably only 40-50 feet from the action, and the elevated view covers the whole playing surface. Best of both worlds... so presumably that's why Level 2 is THE premium seating area the ground.

If you like being close in and vocal, why not go where the really vocal barrackers go.. both at Docklands and at the MCG... standing room around the concourse. Fair enough if you can't stand for two hours, or if you have others with you, but I can tell you that at North games (and the odd Hawthorn game I go to), it makes a much easier way of socialising standing as a group, while still getting a close view of games (but not the scoreboards). My back's pretty rooted, so sitting down is very uncomfortable if I'm crammed into a seat... not so bad if it's a sparse crowd and I can spread out across two or three.

If you like sitting close up, good for you - I think it's interesting the way different people have different preferences for viewing the game. I wonder if it affects the way people give the bests & votes.

I only payed $74 to sit in the cheersquadCheersquad seats.
Thats for an adult.

Yeh gotta agree Darky. I usually sit on level one but yesterday sat on level 3 behind the goals and will continue to sit there now for sure. It was the best view i have had, IMO better than the wing on level three (which most supporters prefer) because your looking straight down the barrel of the ground and can really see the set plays unfold and the tactics of both sides in action.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Level 3 seats! If you get there early enough you can get near the front, but even in the middle, you have a clear view, imo.
