I wouldn't mind having a look at Ollie Watkins for some striker depth. I think he's got some talent, he's got a great first touch, and fits bang into our young squad demographic.

If Aston Villa want to throw him in when we sign Declan Rice, that'd be great!
Rice isn't at Villa ;)
Looks very much like Pepe v2.0 Still early days though but not looking good.

Declan Rice would be the main target imo.

James Maddison and/or Joao Felix too tyvm.

Go big or go home ha!
Yeah if we could land Rice that would be incredible.

Maddison would be good too - would he want to move though not being a regular starter?

Obviously things change season to season, but right now Mudryk must be thinking “wtf have I done” ? The other point is Jorginho, I said at the time I thought chelski were mad to sell him to us, a direct London rival going for the title, love the bloke. Admired him at chelski, love him @ Arsenal.

Mudryk would probably already have Carpal Tunnel and Thumb tendinitis from continuously scrolling through his bank account numbers on his phone.

Rice to Arsenal there's a little smoke... Apparently a big fan of Arteta..

I would say if we got Rice we mean business... 🤔 But **** me... I think we mean business already.

I'd sign both Rice and Maddison with a view of a midfield:

Rice sitting deeper, Maddison in a more open box to box role and Odegaard as the playmaker.

That would be the replacements for Xhaka, Jorginho and Party sorted.

With champions league next season they would all get a good amount of game time... And you would think Arteta would trust them all to come on when needed...

Poor saka needs help out there on the right 🤔

Just need Chelsea to remain shit. His best mate is Mason Mount and he's spoken about wanting to play with him at some point (having said that I haven't seen/read the quotes myself, so that part could be fake news).

So, with all this buying to come, who are we selling? A lot talk around Tierney to Newcastle. Balogun could fetch a bit of money considering his form. Lokonga has started well at Palace. Then there's Pepe, Maitland-Niles and Tavares. Mari is a lock to move to Monza permanently. This could actually be a summer where we make some money with player transfers, plus Champions League coin, Premier League prizemoney etc... we could be sitting on an absolute warchest.

United been dealing with that sort of schedule for 2 months now and don't seem to be slowing down.
Serves them right for not topping their group in the EL. In all seriousness though, their season has been excellent. You'd think it'll take its toll eventually. Being 8 points clear is handy.

Rice plays for West Ham. Would be nice if AV could just give him to us [emoji28]

Yeah, dumb moment on my part. Was listening to The Weekend Wrap on OptusSport when making that comment, and it was showing WH vs Forest while I was thinking of Watkins.

Too many Claret & Blue teams…

ESR and Kiwior both played first half in the under 21s. Really need them to get match fit.

Am guessing Kiwior will feature in the EL tie vs Sporting. Keen to have a look at him, the only one of the January signings who hasn’t been seen as yet in the first team.

Also a nice little side note for the second leg, Bellerin returns to the Emirates. Hoping he gets a great send off then, as he didn’t really get that chance prior to his departure from the club.

Players that should go
Maitland-Niles - It's time to go for his career
Pepe - seems much more suited to France than England
Nelson- It's time to go for his career
Runarsson - Playing pretty well in Turkey, and that's probably his level (not meant as an insult)
Mari - Will stay in Italy
Cedric - Would be a good option to stay at Fulham

Players that might go (dependent on signings)
Nketiah - It's hard because I want Eddie to be a World Class foward but I just don't see it.
Xkaha - If we bring in more mids he might find his time very limited
Tierney - Great, old fashioned full back that gives his all. Will easily fit in to another Premier League club.
Trusty - Doing really well in the Championship, at 24 not sure how he fits in to this team though
Holding - 27, bit part player and needs to move for his career

Keep (bring back to the club)
Nuno Tavares
Balogun

Tavares and Balogun have both been killing it in France this season. Both of them deserve chances to see what they can do in the first team here. If they weren't already Arsenal players we'd be frothing at the idea of signing them.

Edit - Also we should be looking to take maximum points from our next 5 league games

Everton (h)
Bournemouth (h)
Fulham (a)
Crystal Palace (h)
Leeds (a)

That would take us nicely in to Liverpool (a)

Xhaka needs to stay. Excellent leader and great for the club. One of Arteta's favourites, he would still play a lot.

Nuno is doing better? I always thought he would be better as a winger.

I agree xhaka stays... Should be plenty of games for everyone (of quality) next season... Personally I've had enough of looking at our bench and not seeing depth/quality.

Xhaka I can’t see leaving for at least 2 seasons. I still get the sense ESR will be a long term option in his position however Xhaka remains one of Arteta’s key players and leaders and it will be an eventual transition into his replacement as a left side 8.

Leeds is at home also, already won at Elland Road.

My one and only concern is that Xhaka, Partey, Jorginho and Elneny are all 30+ years old. It's an area of the pitch that needs rejuvenation. Rice would be great. Caicedo. If we could stump up the cash for Bellingham, I'd flip. We'd need to sell well.
