I'm not a superstitious person at all, but I have one silly superstition where, if I'm watching the start of a game, I have to be watching the end of it as well, or we don't get the result we want (applies to WCE games as well).

Went for a walk with 15 mins to go, 2-3 up. You can all blame me....

I can't stand the camera angles at Anfield, does my head in having to look at the top of peoples heads when play is on the near side.

This game is the perfect example of the dichotomy of Giroud, really saw the best and a little bit of the worst of him. His admirers and detractors can pick and choose what they want from his performance to reaffirm their position.

Interesting reading Wenger's comment on Elneny, he definitely sees him coming straight into the side - Flamini was a complete absentee today

Flamini was a short term cheap option that really shouldn't be in the first XI. But we made the mistake of not upgrading this position in the summer, hence the likes of him and Arteta are needed whilst Coq is out.

And this is what happens.

Anyway, interested to see what Elneny has to offer. Sunday perhaps too soon to start already. Sanchez an outside chance too.

I have followed Arsenal for 18 years and in 6 of those seasons we have conceded in the 90th minute to drop points at Anfield, Heskey equaliser in 02/03, Neil Mellor winner in 04/05, Luis Garcia winner in 05/06, Yossi equaliser in 08/09, Skrtel last year now Joe Allen this year.

Genuine question - do we consider Sanchez our best player or Ozil?

They're our top 2 obviously. Cech might be our most important. But interesting conversation I was having this morning with another Arsenal man, the comment arose because of Sanchez's imminent return.

I think the answer comes down to what you mean by 'best'.

If you mean it as quality, then I'd say Ozil > Cech > Sanchez.
If you mean it as most important, then I'd say Cech > Sanchez > Ozil
If you mean most difficult to replace, then I'd say Sanchez > Ozil > Cech

I call dead heat, only because they are so different. Talk about sitting on the fence !

What about THAT cup final where we completely dominated those pricks only for that dwarf Owen to pick our pockets.
