And yet we beat Essendon once & lost to them once by 10 points & lost both games against Collingwood by 24 points (allegedly we tanked against both Essendon & Collingwood the second time we played them) with a similar defence to what we have now.

Our defence is not our problem, it is the lack of pressure applied by our forwards & midfielders that makes it difficult for our defenders. The matches we won last season were the result of pressure being applied all over the field. If we can do the same in these matches, they would be both winnable.

I am already dreading this game, especially as I will be there with a few Saints supporters!

I am just hoping for some real intensity this time, just putting some more effort into chasing and creating pressure when we haven't got the ball.

I think Saint Kilda are pretenders once again.

Carlton really aren't that bad, once you put it together you look like an ace team. Its just about consistancy, and I think after suffering what I would say a humiliating loss, hopefully the burning desire will drive that consistancy.
