AFL Team Manager, is located on the Fantasy Footy and Games board with the same name is looking for one coach to fill the position of the Port Adelaide team. If you are interested in joining as the Port Adelaide coach please post your interest in either this thread or the Emergency List thread.
I know you’re thing Port Adelaide what tha F who why how ?!?!.! But you will be in the unique position of relocating your team and renaming them whatever and wherever you like (just not Adelaide we already have one of them) so what a great way to finally make Port Adelaide extinct (at least in fantasy land)
In short, AFL Team Manager is a game where you trade, bid for, draft and select your team with the ultimate aim of achieving premiership glory. The big difference between this game and many others is that all teams must adhere to a salary cap, with all players in the competition having a contract that includes a salary and the number of years they are signed for.
What coaches are expected to do
There are two parts of the game. If you are not interested in both, please don't join:
The Port Adelaide team is quite a strong one, having finished in the top 4 in 2017 and with the off-season just completed now is a good time for any new coach to join as they will be eased into how the game works without the hassles of an off-season to navigate. The Port Adelaide list can be found here.
In general the AFL Team Manager coaches are all friendly and willing to help out new coaches both during the home and away season and the off-season. If you have any questions about the game please let them be known in this thread and I or one of the other coaches will be more than happy to help you.
Don’t let this chance to coach the likes of Dustin Martin, Tom Lynch, Matthew Kreuzer and Marc Murphy slip by.

- An AFL Fantasy-like pick a team and score points based on stats
- Teams must be posted every week (unless otherwise negotiated), including selection of two key defenders, two key forwards and a ruck in your starting 18. This can be done in less than 10 minutes per week.
- 18 players score per team per week
- Current scoring system is that used by the AFL.com.au AFL Fantasy Scoring system.
- A substantial list management process each off-season
- Trade period
- Draft of all un-TM-listed players. Coaches should be online within 24 hours of the preceding pick being taken unless otherwise arranged.
- Players have contracts (salary and time period) which must be honoured and included in a club's salary cap.
- Teams can obtain opposition players through trading or through a bidding process. To avoid losing players coaches should be online at least once every three days (or longer if pre-arranged)
- Coaches must meet salary cap and list size targets by specified dates
