One has been trying for a couple of years and got to A grade not that long ago
It only took you until round three to bring out the ‘clubs are off to the SFL’ line, that has to be a record!

Great win by Parkdale yesterday over your rumoured SFL departee, oh how the self titled ‘mighty’ have fallen.

Also thoughts with the young lad from Old Brighton who suffered a serious leg injury yesterday in the under 19 premier game, and to his mother.

Amazing when your club wins . Also it wasn't me talking about it , but your upperclass mob wouldn't give a F

Fitzroy is playing Willy CYs on Anzac Day.
It's a B Grade game and it's NOT being televised.
I was at Fitzroy Stars and there had to be about a 1000 there, drinking beer, socializing and plenty of supporters from other NFL teams and divisions.
Was pretty wet also!
Stars lineup would beat prem b teams (IMO)

If they can bring in ringers like Eddie, probably could.

Still can’t work out what this means great man, my club has won 84.1% of its games since 2017, but was also stuck in B grade for 10 years before 2016.

As for upper class, our club is full of the kids of De La, St Bernard’s and St Bede’s people who made good and were fortunate enough to be able to afford to send their kids to SKC.

We are the furthest thing from upper class.

Can confirm. Recalling a particular 7.30 report episode from a few years ago - certainly no upper class behavior from those SKC lads

Fair play, I’m more concerned that you admit to watching that dribble! Anyhoo, each to their own.

You have got your left-wing Elites who earn lots of money from government jobs and who would never send their kids to a private school because it is against their WOKE religion and who get all their information through the Lense of the ABC and the right-wing Elites who send their kids to private schools, which enable them to get jobs in industry and financial field. These people, when they make heaps of money, are then able to pay those private schools handsome endowments to make sure their kids keep getting advantages in the society they have created. Those are the two tribes in Melbourne. It's been the same since the gold rush days.

That was groundbreaking . Been nice for a few days

Cheers, Bedders, truth is, if you got rid of all the stuff that wasn't groundbreaking, each thread would be left with less than a page of posts.

St. Kevin's College charges the lowest fees of any APS school in Victoria (perhaps Australia, but I'm not too sure about that). Additionally, Skevs does not lure potential AFL footballers with scholarships. I'm not a former Skevvy nor a Skob; however, my parents ensured that I did have a good education, and I'm not a snob.

Brian?

Big :thumbsu: to Parks Victoria: according to signs in Albert Park Reserve, they are to install lights on Oval 1 (the small oval on the SW corner). I don't think it will ever be used for night footy but at least the sides worst affected by the Grand Prix (AP, SMD, maybe PH or Ajax) could do some of their training there during the Grand Prix set up / take down period. AP, then SMD, should get priority as their grounds are affected longest (Ajax is also affected but they should be able to share with their juniors down at Princes Park. PH get their ground back relatively quickly). These clubs deserve a break after 30 years of being screwed over.

PV haven't really done anything positive in 40 years there , they are a disgrace . The cricket clubs can never play finals there . Oval 1 has always had a great pitch and surface , so lights will help
