The sad news has reached us that Dean Jones has died of a heart attack in India at age 59.
Rated the best one day batsman in the world at his peak Deano was an enigmatic cricketer who had the ability to light up the ground.
Absolutely stunned at this news.
FOXTEL are currently running some of the ODI's from the 1980/90s and Dean Jones has featured in quite a few of these games. It will be a little sad to look at some of them now.
