Hawthorn's inspirational skipper

hindenburg-1937.jpg

Pre-eminent airship of Nazi Germany

Both are known to explode under pressure, but I reckon Richie would boot the Zeppelin off the side of his boot and over the fence, just like one of his wobbly torps.

:thumbsd: Bad form Chewy. Vanders makes up for his on field mistakes with his leadership. Dare you to besmirch Hawthorn in earshot of Vanders.;)

How do you lead effectively by making a heap of mistakes and being a crap footballer?

What do you mean by leadership? What does he actually do?

The sooner Luke Hodge is made captain the better. The kid shows leadership and he can actually play!!

Rewarding average footballers with the captaincy surely doesn't help morale. you need a leader that leads from the front on and off the field.

Word is he is exceptional at getting the players to line up quickly for drills at training..........

Thats about it though.

My year 9 phys ed teacher was good at that too. Could he be Hawthorn captain?

Sam Mitchell for captain. He's inspirational, he puts his nuts on the line every game.

.

and if they don't he'll get a couple of team mates to hold them down while he knees them in the head, tough as nails Vanders:rolleyes:

Chewy, enact Operation Ressurect this Thread Quickly.

For mine, I'd say Ritchie gets too tired carrying 50+ German travellers around, but was much less likely to burst into flames.

Difference is:
The Hindenburg went down in flames
Vandenberg only goes down in the showers. :D

Hindenberg was actually a revered and highly respected Field Marshall/leader of the German army.

Vandenburg is also a leader, but without the first bit.

YOUR words pal, not mine.

So Vandenburg is not the first bit:"Hindenberg was actually a revered and highly respected Field Marshall"/ So he must be the second bit??? "leader of the German army." ???? - Fair dinkum youre an idiot Papa G.

Bytheway - How is Tredrea going with the rest of the team lately? Still sulking like a little girl?????

He's also a little bit like the leader of the German army. In the end they lost.

Tredrea's okay. I'll send him your regards.
