Vandenberg you weak prick

Pretty tough effort Richie hitting a guy on the ground while he is being pinned downed by two of your heartless team mates. Like Campbell Brown, Chance Bateman and John Barker you are a coward, gutless, nasty piece of work. Try facing a guy eye to eye Richie and see how you'd go. I'm all for aggression and tough hard footy but Hawthorn showed none of these qualities.

Declare your team Dustbin...or you are the weak *****! Are you an Essendon supporter by any chance?? Like I've said before, I think its hypocritical when Bombers supporters have a go about thuggery.

Hoss, i'am not biased towards Ess. Yes Ess have gone over the top at times. Michael Long in the 2000 Gf was something i was not proud of. But yesterdays cowardly acts is something i have not seen since Tony Elshaug ran in from behind in the 83 GF. Elshaug is a weak guy. My same thoughts are shared with some of the Haw players. Playing tough, hard, accountable football is a little different to pinning someone down on the ground and getting a mate to belt him for you. Winderlich went for a 50-50 ball, eyes on the ball, Bateman went for his head. Enough said

Fair enough - I was actually thinking of Joe Misiti kicking someone in the ribs and putting them out for 6 weeks. You're right, a lot of what went on yesterday was well beyond the rules of the game.

Ask Darrin Pritchard how his leg was broken in 1993.

Ask Kelvin Moore how his testicle was ruptered in the 80's.

Essendon are filth, and their bleating is making this whole thing even more hilarious if you ask me. The way they are talking they just laid down and copped it - poor diddums.

They won the game, and were miles ahead of us - good on em. But it's about time someone stood up to the scum.

Interesting how Macpie is so selective in his criticism by deciding to comment on Justin Murphy's headbutt (will get 1, maybe 2 weeks) ... yet refused to comment on his own little Paul Licuria's blatent attempt at a trip against the Kangaroos the previous week, and has failed to see or criticise Campbell Brown and Richie Vandenberg for their gutless acts.

I loved that soft arse Welsh trying to remonstrate with Richie.

Vandenberg snotted him and tossed him aside like the weak bitch he is.:D

And ask one of the many players sniped by Micheal Tuck during his fine career ;)

Good to see your posts have gone the samw way as your club. You used to have something relevant to say....but then again your club used to be relevant.

Hypocrisy is outstanding.

Yes it is but really can any supporter of any club be able to make a comment without being hypocitical?:D

Speaking of weak b******. The real courage is playing the game of aussie rules and not attempting to play it like the hopeless hawks, now that is soft. Scoreboard says it all. Courage is not getting someone from behind or while they are down which is where Hawthorn did most of their physical acts.

McpHee fighting from behind.

Face to face, one on one, Vandenberg destroyed Welsh.

Welsh later attempted to fight Bateman - same result.

Hodge dunked Solomon.

Brown flattened Rioli.

:D

Fair point. Football makes hypocrites of us all, just some make it an art form.

A bit like those 'courageous' Johnson boys who like to snipe and slide their kness into unprotected players on the outsides of packs. Bit of selective memory happening here it would seem.

Where were all the Bombers players then when all these 2 on 1's and 3 on 1's happening? Dont they go in and help their teammates?

Good on the hawks for sticking up for each other. It will build a bit of team spirit and God knows they need that!

Twas great to see a fight at the footy again. Bit of biffo never goes astray
