Why put a player in who is that expensive, that has done little to no pre season?

My backline has been a trainwreck so far - Broughton, Grimes, Clarke, Ellis & Lake all scoring under 70 pts.

I think one small positive regarding Dickson is that he was in amongst it and always did the team thing. His job security will increase you would think after that showing.

I doubt it, Crows have Tippett & Taylor Walker. If he starts on Walker it could get real ugly. He'll leave Lake for dead. Either way he will have to play deep in the backline next week. Can't see him getting more than 45-50 @ AAIMI.

First Trade of the year Lake>Birchall. Just as well I kept that spare 667k in the event that one or two of my mid price defenders spud it up.

Yes, it was a cramp issue they said on TV, was the only reason why he was subbed.
