If he gets suspended for that then there's something wrong with the game. Sure, it was a little late but it was a fair bump and just because Broadbent gets injured doesn't mean Stanley did anything wrong.

BE of 45 next week. One more week as a cash cow - if he even plays.

Bewick will be fine, yes he is not ideal for a quick cash-in job but will play out the whole year. Brisbane need to play youngsters and he has really stood up. Looks very composed and has great foot skills, terrific outside player and im sure all Brisbane fans would agree he is in their 22. If he does not miss any games with the injury which to me looked like a bad corky (not a hammy, has this been confirmed?) he will be a fine cash cow and in fact could be good because he will 'mature' at a later time when you may not have many other cows to cash in on.

My minor vent is at myself for playing Stanley over Toy last week and Toy over Stanely this week, very annoying but can't do much about it. Hope Toy isn't dropped/rested next week because Lower + Duffield (With option to trade) will both miss for me. Also vent at McKenna for just leaving Toy on Motlop all game when it was clear after battling in the first quarter and still having 2 goals kicked on him that he couldn't really go with Motlop with the amount of supply he was getting. I know it was a 'learning experience' but it was clear Toy's confidence was just shot and would have been much more beneficial - from my selfish DT vantage-point at least - to have freed him up.

I know this isnt the place but kudos to Gold Coast. AMAZING second half to watch, that last quarter was sensational, stoked for them to get that win.

Yeah totally agree. That was a perfect legitimate bump, shouldn't even be looked at IMO.
