Players who can play either end of the ground in key positions. As injuries take their toll on any side, or if the match ups arent working correctly, this will be our strength.

Kreuzer
Waite
Thornton
Hampson
Henderson

kreuzer and hampson in defence? No thanks, first they, especially hampson need to prove they can play forward!

Has any of them appart from Waite and Kreuzer ever kicked goals when going forward, more than 1 or 2?

They have a lot to prove to prove this right.

There's 7 names that can be thrown around for team balance, which really is great in the modern game. All we have to do is iron out any issues we have with our game plan, now that Fev is no longer there, and there is no reason why we can't be even stronger.

... hampson in defence? No thanks

I have a curiosity to see Hampson trialed in defense. Tall and quick with a great leap, while having some trouble reading the play and holding his marks; playing down back and being led to the ball with a pretty narrow game-day task might be of some benefit to the lad should there be a surplus of rucks.

Not saying I'd push for it, but I have been curious about it for a while now.

We sure as hell need something to be our strength !!!!

I'm not religious at all...but in desperate times, desperate measures:

I call on you, our all powerful god dude to:

  • Fix our bloody kick-ins from a point!
  • Teach our guys how to transition the ball down the field without turning it over with poor skills/movement...teach them any system lol!
  • Clone Bower, Judd, Kruezer and Murphy!!!
  • Trade Hampson to the zoo...tall, fast, looks good...so does a giraffe!
  • Time warp Henderson fwd 2 years...please!
  • Replace Yarran's laconic style with Robinson's rabid dog style!
  • Can you fix Jordan Russell again...he works for a little while then completely breaks down - it's starting to annoy me!
  • Provide Ratten and our strategic team with some inspiration to at least make us look like we're bleeding edge in our game plan! Heck, just help Ratten so we dont look stupid like we did in the Swans game!
  • Find us a speedy winger, elite HBF and a KPF in the next draft...crap, is there someone higher than god!

:p:p:p

With the exception of Waite how many of the others have actually proved that they can play Well in more than one position with some form of regularity ?.

True, a new season brings new hope...none of the above points are based solely on the Swans game, they are based on multiple seasons.

But i get your point and fully accept the award from TheGeneral :D
