Veterans List

Confirmation please

Clubs are allowed two players?

What clarifies a players eligiblity ie age etc?

Does there salary enter into the salary cap?

Are they on the list till they retire/delist?

Can they go on injury list and be replaced?

Allowed as many as you want but the amount left out of the SC goes down (ie 33% for 3)

Must be 30 and have been on the clubs list for 10 years (not exactly sure of the cutoff date)

Can't be taken off the veterans list and put back on the standard list, must be delisted.

CAn go on injury list but still is on veterans list.

check out the aflpa website it has a copy of the CBA from memory.

3 veterans - 33% of their salaries are counted as part of the salary cap
4 veterans - 25% of their salaries are counted as part of the salary cap.

The more veteran listed player a club has the less rookie-listed player a club can have.

Like we could have had 6 rookie listed player but since Ben Hart and Mark Ricciuto are Veteran listed we only qualify for four rookies.

I think you will find that the above figures are the portion that is EXCLUDED from the salary cap and NOT INCLUDED.

There is NO limit to number of Veterans.
