What round will Justin Davies start playing next year for Carlton or the Northern Bullants [assuming he's not delisted] ?

I doubt it'll be before Rd 5.

It's not often you see a guy have 2 striking charges and being sent off.

The first one will be worth 3 weeks..not sure about the second one.

Sandringham 17.19.121
Bendigo 12.10.82

The wind was the dictating factor down at Port today. It favoured the Williamstown Road end and up to 5 goals.

Bendigo started with it and kicked 5.4 to 1.1 by 1/4 time.

Sandringham's second quarter, whilst inaccurate, gave the Zebras a 5 point lead at half-time.

The 3rd quarter was tight and tough, but, Bendigo had the lead by 5 points back at 3/4 time.

Sandy's last quarter was a demolition. 10 goals.

Go Zebs, good to see Rod Crowe playing really well.

An AFL club surely has to take a second look at him, is so versatile. Injuries killed him at the kangas and he has def. matured since then.

Fair call about Rod Crowe.

There was something on him in the current edition of Inside Football, he said he is happy to keep playing VFL but if another opportunity comes up to play at the AFL will take it with both hands.

Nice to see Bendigo off, the most annoying 'club' in the VFL. If you can call it that. I tend to think of it as Essendon, with most of their supporters either being theatregoers from Bendigo who have never given a stuff about the team in their life until now or Essendon ferals.

See ya later Bendigo, come back in 2006. That last quarter on Sunday was fantastic and the old duck in front of me, well she can get stuffed as well! It certainly shut her up.

The best two sides made the Grand Final, either team would be worthy of it. Werribee is a better story cos they have not won the flag since 93.

Werribee's biggest drama will be at the selection table, with some talented players going to miss out.

You arrogant piece of crap.

Most of the Bendigo supporters you would have seen on Sunday have been supportive of the concept since its inception and wish all the best for the success of it.

I take the point about Essendon ferals and say this - what would be the ideal solution for everybody involved...a separate Essendon entity in the competition and a separate Bendigo entity (with the financial situation of both concerns being obvious to everyone i.e. neither a success) or a mutual agreement that is actually working and growing in support?

This year has been an improved year for the combination. From 8th to 4th. This can only get better for the team from here on in. No-one from back in the Diggers days would have ever thought that being in the Preliminary Final by now would have been an option.

And you cannot tell me the VFL itself aren't appreciative of the success of Bendigo. Look and listen to what Ken Gannon has been saying. The growth in crowds this year has been good to see and he attributes that, in part, to the growing success of the Bendigo Bombers.
