I think we should have a stand alone club. Bendigo isn't working.
Essendon would have a greater control of the team and their would be more supporters.
What do you think?
Collingwood have no reserves so they they have
have a Primary List (11 players) and Rookie List (10 players)
The primary list play all the time expect for injury and rookue replace's them. Then the Collingwood listed players take up the remaining spots.
So to answer your question the team will haves players as they have no reserves

As far as a stand alone side goes. I think it should happen and i am pretty sure it will happen when the agreement is finished next year.
Essendon already tried this and it was costing the club too much money by playing them out of Windy Hill. They would have to move the VFL side into the CBD or East-Melbourne to make them financially viable.
Collingwood was the same. They were playing out of VIc Park, but it was still too far out of the way for fans, and since, have moved it to Olympic Park (when they split from Williamstown)
Bendigo while far away, is a footy deprived community, and as such,a ttracts more people then the EFC could playing out of WH whilst there is AFL footy going on.

Collingwood are playing at Optus Oval not OP. They will however play out of OP once it is converted into a footy ground in 2-3 years time.
Are they actually going to convert it into a footy oval ? I know there was talk but i thought there was still a bit of a stumbling block with Athletics Victoria over the use.
The athletics track at Olympic Park will be moved to Albert Park, under a new plan from the State Government.
The shift will give Victorian athletics a new home and the Collingwood Football Club will train on Olympic Park.
Funding for the move will be included in next week's budget.
The Premier, John Brumby has also revived the debate about covering over the Jolimont rail yards and extending Federation Square.
But he has not committed any funding to that idea.
"We need to be able to ensure that there's appropriate development on that site, it's got to be at a relatively low level so that it doesn't interfere with the vista and the amenity," he said.
Acting Coalition leader Peter Ryan is sceptical
"There are no costings in relation to this. We don't know what the Government is going to contribute. We don't know what the private sector is supposed to contribute," he said.
The Premier has conceded any development at the rail yards is still years away.
I read somewhere that the government is spending $100+ mil on a re-development.
EDIT: Here it is
