Hey guys. just wanting ur thoughts on this game for a melbourne point of view.

For thoses of you who don't know, no demons players were picked in either squad. So are you guy still gonna be intersested in the game or couod u not give a stuffAre u happy that we have no players playing or dissapointed we don't have a single rep.Is there anyone you thought should have got a gig?

Thoughts????

As an ex-tasmanian, i don't really like the idea of Vic vs Dream Team so was never really interested in the first place and now i am lest. Although i didn't want any of our players getting injured, i prob would have like to have seen someone in the squads, although i don't know if there is anyone who really should have got a spot.

Personally I thought Jeffery warranted a spot ahead of Simmonds but that's just my biased, one eyed, man crush opinion.

I'll be going for no reason other than to cheer on Victoria because I can't remember the last time I did it. Or if I ever did. It might be my only chance to do so unless they bring it back instead of this bulltwang excuse for a Hall of Fame Tribute match.

Plus my favourite non Melbourne player of all time, Steve Johnson, will be playing so I shall go to cheer him on

I'm surprised Brad Green didn't get even warrant a call up to the squad of 40 for the allies. Has been in very good form

I rekon brock was pretty stiff, has been in pretty good nick this year despite melbournes poor form.

But there are much better midfielders, or midfielders who have been in better form over the last year or so who are ahead of him..

highlight for us is there is no risk of an injury to our players..

I reckon the club would be pretty happy to have no one playing, obviously getting exposure by having 4 or 5 blokes would be ok but its better to have 0 than 1 or 2. I'm thinking the Dream Team might get up, their hatred of the vics might put them ahead of the vics pride for the jumper. Shame this game has turned into a farce with the number of injuries but unless the AFL bring SOO back properly this was always going to happen.

Fev to kick 10 with the vics getting home by a point!

As much as I'd like to see a couple of Demons out there it is nice to know our players will be resting while Adelaide have their whole backline in Bassett, Bock, Johncock, McLeod and Rutten playing as well as their best forward in Burton.

Burton may miss due to his elbow injury that kept him off the ground for the last quarter of last weeks game. My DT brain said YES, my Melbourne brain says NO.

I think that is absolute crap. I watch ALOT of football and brocks form so far this year is that far ahead of scott pendlebury it is ridiculous. Pendlebury had one very good game (anzac day) and was alright last week.

Pendlebury wasnt originally in the squad and was brought in for one good game against sheedy's old mob. Brock has been consistantley good except for the brisbane game.

If you play for the big clubs on the big days you get a birth.

I'll watch.

Would have been nice to see Whitey out there but probably hasnt done enough to earn a spot.

It's ridiculous that they have picked Josh Fraser of all people to replace him, I would rather a no legged Jeff White than Josh Fraser.

As much as I'm going to enjoy the spectacle of the game, i gotta say I'm kinda relieved that none of our boys are playing ,we just came off a good win. We've got 2 weeks of solid training for the next game, I'm curious as a cucumber to see how they will play against Adelaide.

I went to the game, was pretty good although it definitely wasn't the game that was '150 years in the making' as the AFL propaganda machine so subtly put it during the week.

I love Steve Johnson though, man if that boy was at our club there would be some serious ho down time outside gate 2
