Who are we expecting to get a gig in this team.

here is my opinion.
Victoria
Gary Ablett-Shoe in starting on baller
James Bartel-See above
Matthew Scarlett-Should be first picked Full Back, with Glass filling the All Stars spot.
Paul Chapman-Will start half forward or on the bench in my opinion fighting it out for the smaller forwards would be Chapman Brad Johnson Alan Didak and Steve Johnson.
Darren Milburn-Half Back starter and possibly the oldest player in the team...could snare a vice captain role to put down on his record.
Steve Johnson?-Dont know if he will play but will be considered definitley a big bag could secure it.

All Stars
Joel Corey-If not picked will be a joke but is the type of player who selectors could forget about.
Corey Enright-Even more of a chance of being overlooked but would be a starting half back if I was a selector.
Brad Ottens-If fit will fight it out with Mcintosh for second ruck position.

I think Cameron Ling could also be a chance for the Vics, and Tom Harley, Cameron Mooney and Matthew Stokes a chance for the All Stars.

I would have thought Ottens will be injured. Bartel will be unavailable because he's having his other appendix out. Steve Johnson will be unavailable because of a prior social engagement. So that leaves 6, which is damn good.

Stop being a stinge its a one off thing that the players are being REWARDED with and in my opinion should be considered a great honour. You cant tell me that you are not excited about seeing ablett bartel judd and cox starting in the midfield.

Not really relevant but Glass does not deserve his spot in the All- Stars team. Playing as horribly as he has and with such devout competition in Lake from the Bulldogs and Rutten from Adelaide, who have been very good, Glass should not be playing.

There is no FB competition for Scarlett he's a lock. Bolton (NSW), Rutten and Lake (SA), Glass (WA).

Well I know I am! I want as many of our guys out there just to be able to play with the likes of Judd. I just hope it is well worth the money for the tickets I have bought!

I went to wodonga catholic with Hamish Mcintosh, use to even bench with him...he was a twig lol now a monster but im pretty sure wodonga is Part of Vic and didnt he play TAC?

If McIntosh is Victorian he'll play for them. Ottens is South Australian, so won't get a game ahead of Lade and Cox.

what you all are forgetting is that it is a 24 man team (xtra 3 on bench to help reduce fatigue on those playing and reduce chance on injury)

players definatly in from geelong will be: Bartel, Corey, Ablett, Mooney, Ling, Scarlett, Milburn, Chapman, s.johnson

those that are possibilities are: ottens(if fit as 3rd ruck) stokes, enright, selwood
