F...

I swear we are cursed this year

Hopefully it doesn't have Hawthorn-like ramifications.

Bloody hell!!!!! Did one of the coaching staff run over a black cat????

NC also said that despite the injuries, there's no backing off and we'll see the benefits come the business end of the season. Depth at start of the year will no doubt be tested. Time for some kids to stand up, particularly early in the season.

Is this our first soft tissue injury of the year? Unless there's someone really obvious I'm forgetting.

This makes the year very interesting for us. The bloke has told us this is the big season; the definitive one in his coaching career. So we as supporters have a lot of calls to hold him to. He will cop an absolute barrage from the public if things don't go as planned.

Hope he didn't pull it walking out of the Church nightclub on Friday night.

He was participating in full training today, so this surprises me. Hopefully it's just a little niggle. Perhaps with all the injuries they've had as of late they've just decided to lay off on anyone with the slightest twinge?

Terrible news though. Vince is going to need to be in our top handfull of most important players if we're going to do any good in 2010.

Didn't Church close down? Isn't it a fruit orientated nightclub now? Banna, Pear.. Apple? I think it's Apple now.. Not that I care, it was horrible when it was Church and it could only be a nutritional improvement now.

From what I'm told it is supposedly only a one to one and a half week injury on the H&A scale. So in other words we're wrapping him up in cotton wool and giving ourselves the chance to have a look further down our list early in the year. I hope we get the rub of the green when we need it this time.

Not ideal but it's not the end of the world guys:rolleyes:

3 weeks means he should miss the rest of the NAB Challenge games but he should still be fit to play round 1. tbh i'm a lot more worried about Porplyzia's injury atm.

In his time under Blight there were quite a few of these type of injuries, hence our slow start in 1997. Back then though footy news before the first real bounce was nearly non existant. Craigy never let up in the Preseason then, and we reaped the rewards.

While Fringe is on he should have been at the Tuxedo Cat roof top bar down synagogue with a beer, great on a warm night.

Channel 9 made absolutely no mention at all of Vince, only the general run through of those struggling to be fit for round 1, and that Thompson and Dangerfield were on light duties today, though Thompson would be playing in Alice anyway despite soreness.

I can't find any reference to a Vince injury anywhere - either you misheard channel 7, or they've been getting dodgy mail.

I still remember it as the Synagogue

A shit nightclub no matter the name is still a shit nightclub.

Plenty of ugly skanks there. Ugly Skank Mecca.

I wouldn't trust Channel 7, they once told me one of my friends died in a car accident, but he's still alive and kicking

Why didn't Channel 9 or 10 report it?? No doubt Rucci is jumping up and down screaming. Wonder when he did it since Stabby has said he was in full training...

If we get ANY injuries during the season, I will burn down our new facilities. Clearly they're not good and are bad luck.
