The Panics are a quality Perth band....seen them live a handful of times...

Dallas Crane are definately pretty big these days. I had heard of a bt of their stuff on the radio and saw them when they were supporting Jet, they definately have a pretty good following.

Irrelevant are awesome, i gotta pick up their latest album "Ascension" when i find some cash. Yidcore arent bad either, anyone happen to hear their cover of that "wind beneath your wings song"? Sorry for my ignorance but i just cant think of who originally did that song, i dont think i want to know either. But yeah they do a fantastic job of it.

Its a Bette Midler song. Yidcore are a band that are 10x better live. Bram(the lead singer) usually tapes a rubber chick to his mic, its funny stuff

Was away for the weekend in Daylesford and ended up listening to alot of JJJ as the Ballarat stations were rubbish.

I heard this song called Drugunaut by a band called Black Mountain. When I got home last night I looked them up. They're from Vancouver and 4 of the 5 members work in mental health in the worst area of Vancouver for drug abuse. Anyhoo, I d/l another mp3 of theirs and although different, was still very good.

D/L their album as we speak and hopefully should be finished when I get home, but very promising.
